Lovely House

Check-in really easy. House presented to a high standard; the kitchen is extremely well equipped and you will want for nothing to enjoy and cater for yourselves. Pool was ok for a while until it turned a little green. Generally a peaceful area though there is a resident family living next door that we were aware of. A great location for exploring the local area.

Beautiful property with great cycling in the locality

We had a fab family holiday in the Tarn. The property was very well maintained inside and out and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Elsa was very responsive and all correspondence was quick and efficient. She very kindly offered to send us our sun hats that we left behind in our hasty departure! We took our own bikes and enjoyed cycling in the mornings from a number of local villages/towns within 20-30 mins of the house (helped by Komoot app). We also used our paddle boards around Laguépie. The afternoons were mostly spent by the pool, which was very clean and a good size. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. It’s a great location to explore and a wonderful house.

Lovely house in an amazing area of France.The swimming pool and the charm and amenities of the house are outstanding.There are countless short drives (30 min) that'll take you to the most charming villages with breathtaking views, great food and lovely wines.

The property is in an area of France which offers a great deal to see and do. The house is spacious and has a lovely outdoor seating area which we used each evening.

Tranquil stay in

We had an 11 night family holiday in this lovely house located a few kms from Cordes but in a very tranquil and peaceful location in a small village. The house is beautifully and sympathetically restored with a lot of character . It also has all the necessary mod cons for a family stay and everything worked really well. There is no air con but with the thick stone walls and wood shutters the house stays nice and cool inside as long as you remember to keep the shutters shut ! The garden and pool area were particularly lovely. The house faces the village church which you can see from the bedroom windows. Very pretty ! We particularly enjoyed dining outside in the evening under the covered terrace. Worked really well being a few steps from the large and very well equipped kitchen . The location of the house is ideal for visiting places of interest in the region including Cordes, Albi, St Antoine de Nobal Val . We particularly enjoyed Narjac and also managed a trip up to the Lot valley. Favourite activity was kayaking on both the Aveyron and the Cele, the latter being in the Lot Valley. The host Elsa was excellent to deal with throughout , very prompt to come back with any questions we had. We would not hesitate recommending booking this host and house for a holiday in the Tarn.

Zeer charmante villa met alles wat je verlangt

We hadden een topweek in dit huis: gezelligheid ten top, uitstekende communicatie met de eigenaar, een prachtige villa en genoeg activiteiten in de buurt die de moeite waardde zijn om te verkennen.

Excellent séjour pour une magnifique région.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est restée bien fraîche malgré les grandes chaleurs. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Le tout au calme et proche des plus beaux sites touristiques. Merci pour les petites attentions qui nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Un petit point négatif pour la propreté de la piscine et ses transats.

La maison de vacances idéale !

Deux semaines de vacances magnifiques dans cette maison charmante, reposante et très bien équipée. La maison est agencée avec beaucoup de goût et offre de nombreux espaces pour des moments de détente. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le grand jardin fleuri, la terrasse pour les moments conviviaux et la belle piscine. Merci à notre hôtesse Elsa pour les suggestions de randonnées (avec des cartes détaillées) et les nombreux livres mis à disposition. La maison est idéalement située : au calme et à proximité de Cordes-sur-Ciel. C’est un point de départ parfait pour partir à la découverte de la région (petits villages pittoresques, canoë dans les gorges de l’Aveyron, Albi et sa cathédrale…). Merci à Elsa pour l’accueil et les délicates attentions à notre arrivée.

Beaucoup de charme et au calme

Séjour très agréable, la maison joliment rénovée correspond tout à fait à la description et aux photos. Le jardin est absolument charmant et il y a toujours un coin d'ombre quelle que soit l'heure de la journée; l'éclairage nocturne permet de passer les soirées à l'extérieur. Le tout au grand calme, dans un minuscule village. Et à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques (Cordes, Albi, ...)
