Welcome to this cozy cottage with its own sandy beach and jetty by Lake Krön! The house has one bedroom but there is also an annex with a double bed and a double sofa bed in the living room. On the glazed terrace there is both a barbecue and space for large dinners during the summer evenings with a view of the lake and the sunset. A boat is included in the rent for those who want to try to catch their own dinner. An electric motor can also be rented if you want.



To the theme park Astrid Lindgren's world it only takes 6 minutes and there awaits an adventure for the whole family with Pippi, Emil, Ronja and all other well-known characters. Many of the places where the films were shot are still in the Vimmerby area to visit and see with your own eyes. Astrid Lindgren's childhood home Näs can also be visited.



Vimmerby and the surrounding area is, however, not only known for its connection to Astrid Lindgren but also for the various exquisite crafts that are found here. Join in and see how wax candles are made with the same equipment as 100 years ago at Käbbo wax candles, Vimmerby pottery is also happy to show how their production is done. And why not stop at Mariannelund's caramel cookery, anno 1929, which even they have not changed their manufacturing process!



For those who prefer to go out into nature, there are many hiking and biking trails around Vimmerby that take you through forests, past fields and lakes, the real Småland landscape! It is also possible to rent a canoe and paddle down the Stångån. If you prefer more speed and fan, there is Vimmerby Adventure with high-altitude course, Björkebacken's adventure golf with water playground and Virum's moose park.
