Excellent location in the old town, welcoming friendly informative reception, superb breakfast. A nice touch at breakfast was the birthday cake and candle on my husband's birthday. Extremely enjoyable stay.

A beautifully decorated, charming and characterful hotel with genuine charm. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent buffet style breakfast with made to order dishes available. Standard double rooms a bit on the small side, so don’t expect large wardrobe facilities for a long stay.

Characterful stay

We had a lovely stay, capped off by finding our hotel was a feature on one of our walking tours! It's a very iconic hotel, in an excellent location. Staff very friendly. Our room had a sloping ceiling which was a bit awkward for a tall person. The pool table in a beautiful room is a nice touch. Breakfast was very good - both buffet and from menu.

Service great, but the room was terrible

The hotel itself is very nice and the service is impeccable. I was put in what was referred to as the attic with a VERY pitched ceiling. I hit my head at least 7 times and ended up with bad headaches. It was room 414. Given that the hotel was quite empty, I do not understand why they could not have given me a better room.

Always love staying here, it’s just few things… when it got hot outside (30 degrees) I had HOT water running from cold faucet and A/C was not much helpful, but to consider that such temperature are rear in Lithuania it was not big of an issue. Overall very friendly staff and place is clean, love old French style!

On the hotel homepage and on hotel.com it is highlighted that there is a pool and sauna. Fot this reason we booked the hotel but upon arrival we was told that it is out of order!! So we should have been informed about that in advance but was not. This was really irritating. Otherwise friendly reception and breakfast staff. Very good breakfast with many choices. Clean room, Fine internet.

The hotel is amazing! Firstly, you smell it. Secondly, greeted by friendly and professional staff. The hotel is so beautiful, the photos don't do the justice. My deluxe double room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was huge and very pretty, I'd love to have one like that at home. TV is not a smart one so we could cast from the phone and mattress wasn't to my liking. The breakfast buffet had a poor selection, but at least has hot menu to order, which is nice. We used the pool and sauna privately, which was nice. Averall, I enjoyed the stay and would be back.
