"I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. The room itself was just okay—basic but functional. However, it didn’t feel very clean. There was an awful smell in the room that never went away. There were visible marks on the walls, a stale smell, and the bathroom could definitely use a more thorough scrubbing. "A bit of a disappointment, having just stayed at the brilliant Parador de Baiona. This is a very small and poorly staffed Parador, where despite having international guests, they do not serve tea at breakfast and you have to ask for everything, you cannot access much of the castle and they put you in rooms without a view when only a few of the 34 rooms are occupied - not much incentive to return?! Cuidad Rosrigo itself is a lovely little town!"
