We loved the property and the surrounding area. Very quiet country setting. Owners were very nice and accommodating as well. Very convenient to the beautiful town of Bayeux.
Lovely, homey guesthouse in the peaceful Normandy countryside. Clean room and common spaces. Shower had high pressure and water was sufficiently warm. Despite a slightly disjointed check-in (room was ready but make sure to confirm instructions and timing with owner before arrival), stay was very smooth. Functional, well-equipped kitchen and common spaces but cleaning staff must come by every few days (doesn’t seem daily). Exceptionally warm hospitality included the owner’s willingness to drive me into town as I was unable to rent a car (also suggested a top notch bike rental spot along with Battle of Normandy museum which I may have otherwise missed). Would be delighted to return if I’m ever in the area again!
It was a great place to relax and enjoy the hotel and countryside. I had the run of the house and kitchen. I felt like I was in my own home. I stayed two extra days and used the farm(cattle) as my base for circular drives in the area. Parking was in the courtyard and very accessible.
After the hustle and bustle of Paris, this country property was a pleasure! If you saw a black and white photograph of the property, you'd think your were living in 1923! The owner is kind, independently runs her cattle farm, and she and her father are living history lessons! One thing to bear in mind, if you desire staying in the rural area, is that you will have to drive to Bayeux for dinner-it's a chip shot drive, there are plenty of restaurants, and much to see!
Charming retreat conveniently located to D-Day beaches. Immaculately clean, with very friendly owners who will make you feel right at home. Beautifully decorated with antique furnishings. Peaceful and relaxing with the serene sounds of nature outside your window. Breakfast includes breads, yogurts, coffee, milk, juice, and a dozen or so artisan jams to give you a taste of France. Very good wifi, maps and info about the area, and the owner was tremendously helpful in suggesting points of interest in the area. She told us about places to go that we hadn't even heard of before we came, which ended up being some of our favorite places we visited in Normandy. I only wish we would have stayed here longer.
Hostess is kind - a bit on the quiet side - but then again she has her activities on the farm
Nice location in the country side
Surroudnings are very quiet
Good area for a (morning) walk
Room is spacious and clean- bathroom has a decent size
Breakfast is simple but... fresh bread straight from the baker... value for money
Very warm welcome and beautiful building. The location is very picturesque and parking was very convenient. The bedroom was very traditional which we enjoyed. However, the bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom could do with an upgrade.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The farm was in a quiet village outside Bayeux which was very convenient. The host wasn’t expecting us so we were given an apartment . It was very basic and appeared to be a little unfinished but was OK for the night. Breakfast was delicious and the host was very amenable
Stra consigliato
The farm is well-located for Bayeux and travelling around the D-Day sites (but you need your own transport). The location is quiet and restful, with an excellent view of the stars on a clear night. The room was simple but comfortable and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Fabienne (the hostess) is very helpful and welcoming and we met an interesting range of other guests at breakfast. We would go back with pleasure.
Greeted by the owner who took us to the room and was very friendly and extremely helpful, the owner also recommended us to a local French English speaking restaurant that was simply delicious food
