About this property

Gorgeous home in Vianden with WiFi

  • This detached, comfortable vacation home has a unique location with maximum privacy although it is within walking distance from the center of Vianden and the castle. You can park near the house and then walk up the stairs to the cottage. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility. From the living room with fireplace you go into the modern kitchen. The dining room is next to the kitchen and from here you have a magnificent view of the castle of Vianden. From this room or winter garden you also have access to the terrace. On the same level is the modern bathroom with a staircase down to the bedroom with bunk beds. Upstairs are two bedrooms and the second bathroom. Around the cottage is a large garden with a (screened) pond and a barbecue. Within walking distance (via unpaved road) there is a playground and the park of Vianden. The beautiful location and the complete offer ensures that this vacation home in Vianden is very popular with vacation guests.

    Vianden is a well-known and cozy town on the border with Germany. Nestled in a very impressive nature and with many street cafes, stores and good tourist infrastructure, it is an attractive town. Across Vianden runs the Our, also border river to Germany. Vianden is also known for its large fortress from the House of Orange-Nassau (beautifully restored and really worth seeing), the Victor Hugo Museum and the interesting town hall. Vianden is rich in history, but also offers modern facilities. Take the chairlift up where you can enjoy the beautiful view. From here, several beautiful hiking trails are signposted. There is an adventure park with climbing opportunities for children and adults. Vianden also has an open swimming pool. Also you can visit the pumped storage plant and you can make a circular walk along the shore from the reservoir since summer 2015. From personal experience: highly recommended.

Genauigkeit des Inserates

Ich hatte 3 Zimmer für Erwachsene gebucht, dem Vermieter wurden aber nur 2 Zimmer gemeldet. Das Haus ist definitiv nur für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder geeignet, da das Doppelstockbett sehr niedrig ist. Dass Handtücher mitgebracht werden müssen stand nirgends. So haben wir zusätzliche Kosten gehabt!

Prachtig uitzicht

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en het uitzicht is schitterend op Vianden en het kasteel. Het huis is schoon en de ontvangst en uitleg verliep soepel. Heerlijke tuin en houten terras. We misten wel een parasol en die heb je echt nodig als de zon volop schijnt. Op de site staat een lichte moderne bank maar in het huis staat een donkere leren bank en de koffiemachine in de keuken ontbrak. Er is wel een koffiezetapparaat. Misschien een tip om de site te updaten. Al met al een prima verblijf die we iedereen kunnen aanbevelen.

Perfecte vakantie

Een geweldig chalet met alles wat nodig is voor een perfecte vakantie. Alleen het parkeren is soms wat lastig en de toegang met trap maakt het voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn moeilijk. Zeer gastvrij onthaal door de verhuurder en mooi uitzicht. Ondanks de ligging aan de weg geheel beschut, geen last van inkijk. Dikke aanrader!

Mooi huis op een prachtig plekje

Wat een geweldig huisje. Ruim, schoon, mooi plekje, gastvrije ontvangst, uitleg over alles, compleet ingericht en fijn dat ook van de eerste levensbehoeften eea aanwezig is. Het is geen huisje voor slecht ter been, je moet een flinke trap af van de weg naar het huisje, en ook naar het stadje is het een steile trap of loopje langs de weg naar beneden. De regio is geweldig om te wandelen. Het stadje zelf heeft relatief weinig te bieden, en zeker in deze tijd (nog voor Pasen) is vrijwel alles nog dicht. Het kasteel is een bezoek meer dan waard.
