The property was well kept the staff was amazing. The front desk staff on Tuesday night a young g lady whose name began with the letter A was outstanding. Our first room air was not working and she did a great job of getting us into another room. However the room was not equal to our room. We had no balcony and it was not romantic as I had booked. The restaurant staff was outstanding and the bartender as well. Overall it was a good stay. Liked the pool as well. This was our 8th year wedding Anniversary Trip and first time in Catania, Italy. 👍

we stayed for one night it is more like business hotel , it was in good location (some moles around and 30 minutes drive to the air port ) plenty of free parking lots , and a modern building. the Hotel is charging extra's for the use of the SPA , also we wanted to eat some Pizza which we bought out side and the restorant worker did not let is seat in front of the resturant ... so we need to eat it at our room. beside that the Hotel was very nice.

I spent in Villa Itra four days with my family for holidays reason. I found the hotel very nice, the room was very big and comfortable, the breakfast was varied and plentiful . I found the ratio cost/result for the hotel a little too high.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff who were very accommodating. The pool is incredible - you have to reserve in advance and the times did not seem so flexible (only one hour in the mornings), but this could have been because we were a family of four. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant at dinner had very nice food - could maybe use a bit more variety on the menu (eg no pasta dishes was a bit of a surprise). On the whole, very nice place for relaxation!

The room was dirty so was the surrounding areas. The bed was comfortable. The hotel needs a refresh of paint on the walls and a few repair as many things were broken or really old. This is definitely not a 4 stars hotel that Expedia should advertised as such but rather a 2-3 stars.

We stayed two nights at the end of June. This hotel is in a very convenient location because it is central. It's close to Catania, Taormina and Mt Etna - all easily reachable within half an hour or so. It was an okay stay, but definitely not 4-star, in retrospect. The pool was an experience - it's obviously a source of additional income for the hotel so it's always crowded with non-guests. This goes for the parking, as well. It's a nightmare. Pluses: Convenient location and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Minuses: Pool and parking. Overall, it served us well.

They have problem with AC big problem.My room was with out Ac they try change 3 times finally they give us 2 rooms separate but still was really warm and Ac make very loud noise. Food was great but I don’t received bottle wine because she talk me we change room but was hot so is not my fold plus room was less what we Reserved.

I have booked for 1 double bed and 2 single. But there was only 1 double bed and 1 single in the room. When I went to the reception the next day to query, the lady at the reception the lady was rude and told me why I did not mentioned this on my arrival day one. I told her day one I was tired and did not take notice and thought that the sofa bed can open and turn into 2. There was two Tv's only one was working. Some of the lights was not working in the room 129. I did not bother to report it as I had a bad experience at the reception. However, the staff at the restaurant and room cleaners were friendly. The outdoor swimming was closed and we wanted to use the indoor swimming pool 11th June, we was told that there is no water. Overall a bad experience.

2 star rating at best. Outdated!

This hotel is outdated and overpriced without providing the basic amenities. We checked in around 8pm to a junior suit for 4 people. Once checked in realized, they have no tea and coffee facilities in room nor a iron. The hotel staff confirmed the basics are not included in the expensive apartment. I was shocked that they do not even provide glasses for drinks unless you request from the bar. If you need clothes ironed, you need to drag your clothes to reception and wait 30mins until they set up a room with a ancient iron to use. The hairdryer within the bathrooms was from the 60's, plastic non usable handheld hoover looking pipes.

Grande struttura con Spa, le camere sono grandi ma non sono allestite come ti aspetteresti da un 4 stelle superior, la testata del letto consisteva in un plexiglas simile a quello che useresti per non fare segnare i muri dalle sedie in ufficio, letto di dimensioni standard ma comodo, mobilio basic (manca una scrivania), nel bagno la tavoletta non fissata bene, bicchieri di plastica, accessori come phon molto basic. La spa bella, le prenotazioni gestite direttamente dalle ragazze e non in reception con poca disponibilità di pacchetti, che sarebbero convenienti ma non disponibili se non prenotati per tempo. Colazione pagata extra mi aspettavo di più, niente di fatto in casa. Nel complesso una buona struttura.

Sono stato due volte nel mese di agosto. La prima in una junior suite e la seconda in una sistemazione definita "Doppia Romantica". La junior suite era un loft, piuttosto comodo se non si hanno problemi con una scala un po' ripida per raggiungere la zona letto. La cosiddetta Doppia Romantica è una mansarda bassa e scomoda che dovrebbe essere descritta chiaramente al momento della prenotazione. Si raggiunge con una scala di 18 gradini dal piano inferiore (il secondo); non c'è la doccia, ma una vasca in cui, se si sta in piedi, si rischia di sbattere la testa. La tavoletta del water era staccata, il climatizzatore perdeva acqua e l'asciugacapelli si attivava e disattivava attaccando e staccando la spina. In più, non è stato possibile oscurare bene la luce proveniente dai lucernai e dalle finestre. Mi dispiace aver criticato, perché l'albergo per il resto è bello e comodo, ma la "Doppia Romantica" è imperdonabile. Se fosse stata chiamata "mansarda", avrei dato un punteggio migliore.

Eerder een congres-hotel an spa dan een regulier hotel. In prachtige staat. Ik was er voor mijn werk (een cursus) en ervaarde zeer vriendelijk en bereidwillig personeel met klaarzetten van een demo-voertuig. La struttura è molto bella, nuova e accogliente, il personale molto cordiale e disponibile. La stanza molto bella e ampia, graditissimo il balcone super privato, molto affascinante la vasca a vista (anche se poco pratica perché l’acqua arriva ovunque), nel complesso un buon soggiorno da riproporre.
