Veterans Memorial Park

We had a perfect weekend. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and spotless, and the staff is kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Our room was big, clean, and comfortable, and we loved being able to fold up the couch bed so my four year old daughter could play. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the couch bed was great as well. My four year old had a blast playing with Daddy in the lovely pool area. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature, and the hot tub was just the right kind of hot. Breakfast was amazing, featuring plenty of eggs, meat of cheese, various breads, waffles, cereals, milk and juice, among other things. Our vegan family member was thrilled that plant based sausages were offered, along with oatmeal and fruit, both fresh and dried. We didn't have time to use the fire pit and grill areas, but they looked fun. We also loved that Aldi and other stores were right across the street. Made it easy to bring back groceries to use for making meals in the full kitchen. It doesn't have a stove, but they gave us a hot plate and pan at the front desk, and it worked great! The only unexpected event was the historic storms in the area, featuring tornados and baseball sized hail! But I don't think we can blame the hotel for that! We have visited the area for a weekend for the past eight months, and this was our family's favorite hotel we have stayed in.Thank you for the magical weekend with our daughter! Room was super clean and the steak house had amazing food.

Would have been nice if they had food to order for breakfast!
