An amazing and comfortable apartment in an exquisite, centuries old building. It was spotlessly clean, had lovely touches such as good quality linen and towels, an extensive welcome pack including fresh fruit, juices, milk and coffee, toiletries and even Covid face masks and hand sanitiser! Loads of info about the local area too.
We were warmly welcomed by Monica and her daughter and they were on hand to answer our questions at any time. You know you are going to have a good stay when the owner sends you a courtesy Whatsapp over a week before arrival!
The property is listed as three bedrooms, however it is worth noting that one bedroom is essentially a lounge with a sofa bed that leads to a bedroom. This was no problem for us and our two children who had a room each., although the layout may cause an issue to access a bathroom if you are a group of adults. Oh, it you do have children, I can happily report that the wifi is fibre fast!
During our stay, the aircon in the master bedroom didn’t work and was temperamental in the other two rooms. Monica was very attentive to this problem but it wasn’t solved during our stay. She did provide us with a fan though and a complimentary bottle of wine which was much appreciated!
The apartment is in close proximity to many bars, restaurants and tourist sites and a 15 min walk to the Arena De Verona. I can wholeheartedly recommend renting e-scooters, as a Brit I used Lime and they were superb.
Verona is a stunning city, we loved our brief stay and would love to cone back to this property.
Thanks Monica!
