The area around this hotel felt a bit questionable. The property itself is definitely older. Parking was limited to the front desk and one visitor spot, and street parking isn’t an option without risking a fine. The room was fairly clean, though the rug was quite old and could use replacement. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

They are a really friendly and welcoming family, we felt very well taken care of with them. The rooms are really well-sized, clean and functional. In the morning we were given freshly baked cake o take away with us on our journey free of charge, and it was delicious!

En Route

This was a last-minute booking and fortunately we got the last room in the house. reasonably priced based on the very decent accommodations which included breakfast. The owner was very friendly and courteous both when we arrived and on departure. Stepping out on the balcony allowed us to see the ocean which was a welcome surprise and brought in a cool breeze into the room.

Un très bon choix pour visiter Vergina/Aigai

Situé tout à côté du tombeau de Philippe de Macédoine, dans un quartier calme et paisible (avec cris du coq et aboiements parce qu'on est un peu a la campagne !), avec un petit terrain de parking pr y mettre son véhicule, je ne peux que recommander cet établissement familial simple mais de grande qualité ! La chambre etait propre, tres spacieuse, pas eu besoin de clim , un grand lit, pas de bruit, rideaux très occultants, petit balcon , c'était parfait ! Et petits déjeuners au choix faits maison et a l'heure préférée. Les gérants sont charmants. Merci ! A great stay, thanks !

Nice little guesthouse close to tombs

In the village so easy to find even at night, free on site parking, quiet, 5 minutes walk to the tombs and village centre for dinner. Very nice breakfast individually prepared, helpful owner, lots of friendly cats in the garden!

This home stay is literally a stone throw away from the King Phillip's tombs about 150 mts down the road. Location is perfect. Rooms are spacious and clean and have A/C. Plenty of private parking space available

Great place to stay

It was great. The family who run this guest house are extremely helpful. Plenty of information about the local area, guide books, maps etc., advice about places to eat. Breakfast is recommended- ours increased in size every day! And it is on the edge of the village, so rural- but less than a few minutes walk to the stunning archaeology one way and the village centre the other. You can sit on the balcony and watch the sun travel over the mountains.

Excellent! We had a relaxing wonderful stay here wanting to be close to King Phillips tomb which us just down the street. The owners are very hospitable and have a wealth of local knowledge-their son by as studied archeology and printed out maps f ou r us of the nearby sites including the palace archeologists are restoring on nearby hill. The rooms were immaculate and breakfast was customized to our personal preferences many times with fresh local ingredients. We highly recommend this guesthouse

Kuscheliges Gästehaus in ruhiger Lage

Das Gästehaus liegt am Rand von Vergina in der Nähe der Grabstätten und des ehemaligen königlichen Palastes von Philipp II., dem Vater Alexander des Großen. Das Gästehaus bietet 10 gemütlich eingerichtete Zimmer in ruhiger Lage. Der Empfang und die Betreuung war immer sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wir bekamen Karten unserer geplanten Route mit Geheimtipps, was auf der Strecke noch sehenswürdig ist oder welches Restaurant empfohlen wird. Das optionale Frühstück ist sehr lecker mit selbst gebackenen Gebäckstücken.

Op werpafstand van de koninklijke graven

Het hotel ligt vlakbij dé attractie van Vergina , vlak bij verschillende horecazaakjes en in een zéér rustige buurt . Enkel als de bussen vol toeristen aankomen wordt het druk , maar dan enkel in de richting van de koninklijke grafkelders . Het dorpje op zich heeft echter wel weinig te bieden , als de toeristen weg zijn sterft het langzaam uit .

hotel simple mais bien équipé, très bien tenu. Juste à côté du musée archéologique de Vergina bon accueil en arrivant, n'hésite pas à téléphoner pour obtenir des infos touristiques pour vous (exemple: sur les possibilités de visiter tel monastère proche ) Echanges intéressants avec le jeune et dynamique responsable de l'hotel Après notre départ, nous avons constaté à l'aéroport de Thessalonique que nous avions laissé la carte d'identité dans la chambre. Support incroyable de l'hotel pour échanger avec les responsables de la compagnie aérienne pour trouver des solutions, transmettre un scan de la carte d'identité à l'aéroport...

Greek hospitality at its finest.

We had a wonderful time in vergina. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. We felt right at home, like we were staying with family. Highly recommend this hotel within walking distance of the tombs.

אם חשבתם להשאר לילה באזור( יש הרבה עתיקות והסטוריה ) זה המקום בעלת הבית מריה היא משהו מיוחד, מוכנה לעזור בכל שתבקשו, החדר לא כלל א"ב אבל תמורת 7 אירו תקבלו כזו שלא תשכחו, מכל טוב, מיץ שחוט טרי ומאפים ביתיים נהדרים בקיצור נפלה

Good value guesthouse.

Great staff, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, WiFi, good position for visiting the tombs and a good position if you are looking for a break whilst traveling the ignatia highway. The bathroom, especially the shower would benefit from updating.
