We had such a great stay at this house for a ski weekend. The home was beautiful and the timing could not have been better with snow falling all weekend, which made the scenery absolutely stunning.The house had everything we needed and more. The space was comfortable, well laid out, and perfect for relaxing after a full day of skiing. The views were amazing and the overall atmosphere felt very peaceful and safe.Everything was clean, easy to access, and thoughtfully set up, which made the entire stay stress free. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

The rooms are clean, plenty of supplies, a lot of board games. We love especially the game room and the great view for the fall foliage, we have a great stay and chilled time, will come back again!

The house was clean, had everything you could possibly need, and the location was great! We saw wildlife in the yard every day, which was really cool. Antonio was a great host—very helpful, patient, responsive, and kind. We also had a delicious dinner at the Crystal Inn one evening, which was a short drive away. A great stay all around!

Walk to the AT!

This beautiful home is a 15-minute walk to the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to the Stairway to Heaven Trail parking lot (also on the AT -- you could walk to it as well if you wanted a longer hike). We so enjoyed our stay. Large, comfortable rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a view from the deck that will make you think you're in the middle of nowhere! Saw some lovely sunsets. The fireplace was easy to use, though you will want to buy your own wood and gather tinder to start it. Antonio, the host, did provide some large logs.Also, we drove into Vernon and Warwick, NY -- the latter has some very nice restaurants and shops. Lastly, Antonio was very responsive and helpful, so easy to work with. We will be back!

Touring USA

The house was amazing, there was only the two of us, so far too big for our needs, which seemed such a shame as there is so much this place has to offer. It would be perfect for groups and families. Ideal location as a base to explore the wider area, well equiped with lots of thoughtful touches. Extremely comfortable and would have like to stay longer.

Girlfriends autumn getaway

Beautiful, meticulously maintained home, well-appointed to a quaint town. Unbelievable breathtaking views at the mountainside. Close to grand cascade / Crystal Springs luxury spa and moderate to high intensity, hiking near by . Wawayanda Park is amazing. Sweeping views of fall foliage , beautiful lake, with a nice area of sand to sunbathe.. great Thai and Italian restaurant nearby. Owner provided such thoughtful amenities. Like staying in a hotel, but so much better. Love white linens and towels- rare in a rental home! We plan to make this an annual fall trip to their lovely home! Had a fantastic time with friends!

New Jersey Mountain home

When we first came in, the weather was beautiful and refreshing. The house was very spacious with lots of games for you to play and our family took advantage of both the basement games as well as the board games and had quite a lot of fun. I really recommend coming here as the area and the people are very welcoming, and who knows you might see a ferret and opossum like us and hopefully a bear.

Clean and Quiet

The property was clean and very quiet. Sitting on the deck looking out at the woods and mountains, felt like there was no one for miles. Yet the house was easy to access and quaint farm markets were nearby. Antonio always responded quickly to any communications and was especially helpful when we had to reschedule our trip at the last minute. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area. We had a great trip!

Great Location

We enjoyed the layout and the downstairs game room. The owner was extremely responsive to a couple of questions we had and checked in regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves with no issues. Highly recommended.

Mountain Creek

Our goal was to have quality family time and this property was perfect for it. The house was big enough to accommodate all of us and was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. It was very clean and comfortable.

Truly a "Beautiful Mountain House"

This house was very well appointed and offered all our family needed for a stay in the area to celebrate the marriage and coming baby of our granddaughter. While a bit remote, once there the location is serene and peaceful - and the evening trips by the black bears through the lower part of the property made for exciting viewing!

The owner was very responsive and helpful. The house is spacious and comfortable, clean, with wonderful windows and natural light. The natural surroundings were awesome. We were delighted to discover we were in walking distance to the Appalachian Trail!

Natural beauty

Beautiful house in a beautiful location, Antonio was always quick to answer questions and the house was immaculate but the natural beauty of the area surpassed every expectation. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing fall getaway

This house was everything we could have asked for for a relaxing fall trip with young kids. It had so many things for kids-the game room, a closet full of games, kids' books, a pack n play and Amazon echo dots for kids in the 2 queen bed rooms. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed.

Perfect getaway

Everything about our stay was great. The pictures and descriptions are very accurate, our host responded to any questions we had VERY quickly, the house was immaculate, and the property was beautiful. We were about 15 minutes from the spa, golf, and several trails. We were also very close to Warwick for shopping and dining and also several farms. . Our host gave detailed directions on how to use the fire place and fire pit and even set everything up for us. Another plus was that everything was well stocked from toiletries in the bathrooms to pots in the kitchen to even marshmallow roasting sticks! The living areas are spacious and there were several areas in the house where six adults could sit and eat, talk, and play games together comfortably. Even though we were only adults we had a great time with all the games in the basement. This home and host are gems! So glad we chose to stay here!

Amazing House, Great Location

House was huge, everything was as described. It was right in between Vernon Valley and Warwick. Antonio was a great host. He answered all of our questions, let us check in a little earlier and stay a little later. We will definitely be back!

Serene and Beautiful, but...

our stay in this home was beautiful. there was a lot of space for my children to play indoor. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room in the basement. (the basement is unfinished and would've been enjoyed more if it was.) the owner responded super fast to the questions we had and overall it was a great stay with a scenic view and decently priced Two things that we did not like 1) most windows didn't have window shades 2) My husband only told me after we left the house, that the first night we were there, during daylight hours while he was out on the porch he saw two bears in the backyard. He was quite frightened, but he knew that if I found out that there were bears id want to leave (I'm extra scared of animals) he made sure the rest of the stay that my kids and i didn't go into the yard at all. i was wondering why he kept saying that we should just go on the porch or stay inside. i don't know if this a common occurrence, but nevertheless that is what happened and i would be extra careful if coming with children and I'm grateful that i only found out after we left

Wonderful House for a Active Family

My family of 6 had a wonderful stay here. The house was better than expected. Wonderful views from every window. Tons of space throughout the house to give everyone space to spread out. The kids used the game room in the basement constantly. The jetted tub in the master bedroom was amazing. The owner was wonderful as well. Responded almost immediately to any messages I sent. Was very welcoming and made their home feel like ours. I highly recommend this house and hope to visit again someday.
