「The property had a strong cleaning solution odor to cover up the smell of smoke and animals. The room had a musty, stale smell to it. There were numerous ants everywhere in the rooms. Additionally, the parking spot for our room was completely unreasonable as you could not park a normal size car and open the door. It said that it had pool access, but there was no pool access. There was no AC either. The one bedroom exterior access door could not be locked shut.

「I had originally booked as they had a pool listed only to find out they open in May.
Check in process was concerning as they did not get back to me. I had to reach out to the virtual agent for follow up. The virtual agent then let me know that someone would be there at my check in time and provided their name.
I had reached out to see if there was an iron and received no response.
Some noise from bar below as mentioned and not too bad and is expected. However, as they were getting the pool ready...

But they had private family visits at the same time as having us and you are quasi in the same space. So there were no real privacy. We were kind of in the middle of another family. 「The host was lovely met us to check in. He should be rightfully proud of his guest house. It looks brand new. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Small balcony overlooking street. Lovely rooftop terrace. Kitchen has basic amenities. It was very close to bus station and lovely 10 minute walk to Balcony de Europa. Would thoroughly recommend and good value for money. 」
