Located in the beautiful Gulf Coast town of Venice, Laurel Bungalow is nestled in the quiet neighborhood known as the Historic Edgewood District, just off the Island of Venice. Enjoy all the luxuries of Florida right under your roof or hop on your bicycle and ride 1/2 mile to the Legacy Trail, 1 mile to downtown Venice or 2 miles to Venice Beach or Casperson's Beach (the Sharks Tooth Capital of the World). Laurel Bungalow boasts a private heated saltwater pool, outdoor kitchen w/ Green Egg and gas grill, covered seating area with television, fire table, outdoor shower and detached "pool house" with a queen bed and home theater with 86" TV. The home also has a cozy screened porch with separate fenced in side yard. The main house has a comfortable living room, dining table that easily seats 8, kitchen, laundry room/bath, 2 bedrooms (one king bed and one queen bed) plus office with high speed WiFi. 3rd bedroom (with queen bed) is located in detached pool house. Our neighborhood has a playground/park, baseball fields, tennis & pickle ball courts. Conveniently located to all Venice has to offer~ beach, shopping, restaurants, theater, golf, bike trails, you name it! ~ and everything else you'll find right under your own roof! Laurel Bungalow is a dog friendly, non-smoking property. This is a private residence, with a private pool, and not shared by other rental homes.

The house was clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor living space was fantastic and the pool was super nine. The separate building with bed and super theater room was perfect. We loved the location to shopping and the Venice downtown area. Quite friendly neighborhood and great for walking and bicycling. There were playgrounds in the neighborhood and park a few blocks away with pickle ball and tennis courts. So relaxing and great for grilling out on the patio!

Our 3 weeks exceeded our expectations. We had prompt communications with the hosts. The landscaping was beautiful and well kept, allowing for complete privacy on the grounds.The pool was sparkling. Great location to beaches! Many great restaurants with 30 minute radius. Close to downtown Venice! My husband and kids had a blast fishing on the beach and combing the beaches for shark teeth. The pool and outdoor patio setup was outstanding! We loved the outdoor shower, great touch after a long day at the beach. We also enjoyed a trip to legoland for the day!

Such a unique home in so many ways. Design, outdoor space and decor. Each interior room stylistically seemed different from the rest. Fun knickknacks had me smiling and lingering in some rooms. Highly recommend!

We checked in 5/30/25 and checked out 6/6/25. We had an amazing time with our 4 granddaughters and dog. We have stayed in this area many times before, however this is now our most favorite rental. That is saying a lot as we have been renting vacation properties for 50 years. As good as the pictures are, the property is even better in person. We will defiantly be staying here again. It is close to all the things we love to do in Florida and the home exceeded our expectations.

Love Laurel Bungalow. It is adorable, comfortable, and loved our stay. The furniture is not only cute, it is very comfortable. Our beds were so comfortable, and the room was roomy. Great property for our family

Neighborhood was in a great location for us to be close to all the attractions in Venice, our extended family in sarasota, and a boat ramp. The home was very clean with all the kitchen utensils you would ever need, and the appliances were very nice. The pool and the outdoor area is set up perfect with great furniture and cooking area. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay , and we already booked another stay for next year.

Fantastic location.....close to EVERYTHING! My wife is 74 and doesn't go to the beach much so the pool was a HIT! The house has everything you need and the outdoor kitchen and covered area was perfect. Edie, the property manager was easy to contact and responded promptly.
