"I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in an ocean front view room. Pros: -location -views -cleanliness -has netflix (living room area only) -basic kitchen tools for cooking/eating. -rooftop patio (very nice to hang out, watch the sunset and do bbq). Cons: -no A/C, so summer time you might not enjoy it. Although it has a ceiling fan in the bedroom, mine was a little noisy. -not soundproof, you can hear footsteps from the suite above and the noise outside the building. -if you like hot showers like...

"The hottest of hot water showers. If you like a hades-like water temperature this is the place. *Chef's kiss* The water pressure as well. A relatively diverse bunch of other travelers with which there was some great conversations...everything from restaurants recycling oil from the late 1800's to the specific technique of tattooing a more solid line on someone. There's a health food tienda/café about 7-11 minutes by foot. Bought a bag of sugar for around 5 bucks. Plenty of seating outside as...

"Fantastic room with big bay window directly on to Venice beach - you could sit in the room and watch the action all day should you prefer! Noisy until 10pm only after which it was nice an quiet. Secure parking a couple of blocks away. Possibly to park in front of hotel long enough to unload and load the car."
