The apartment is in an excellent location with easy access to all the sights. There are restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Chiara was an excellent Host. We would be happy to come back here again.

I highly recommend this property. The host is so so so nice and kind!! She prepared the mosquitos repellent machines , mosquito's repellent because she knew we are afraid of mosquitos. (we didn't get any mosquitos bites during Venice). She also prepared one bottle of red wine to welcome us! And she is so kind to help us find porter to carry our luggage and brought us to the Pharmacy when my husband sprained his ankle!! The house is very clean , like what the picture shows . AC and wifi are very good!! In italy, it is so lucky to meet this house which has the strong AC ans Wifi. The loction is close to attractions . There are the restaurants downstairs and Supermarket very close！ We are very appreciate the host！ Thank you!!

Nice apartment. Clean. Good location. Host was very accommodating. The only downside was the noise from the lower sidewalk (there are a few bars outside the bedroom window), which were a bit noisy a few of the nights. Other than that, it had a comfortable feeling for the three of us.

The apartment is beautiful, with outstanding location close to everything, and all the amenities one could want or need. We are 5 adults and had plenty of space also. Chiara is a wonderful host, so much attention to detail and service, helpful advice, and warm reception and excellent communication on everything. We had a fantastic stay — 5 stars plus! Grazie tantissimo Chiara!

A wonderful location. The Apt is Ideal for a couple or small family. Third or fourth stay here. Improvements to the AC made this our very best stay yet!

Good spot in a nice non touristy area

Near a Campo with lots of locals, several good restaurants, gelato, grocery store. As mentioned in some reviews, lots of noise at night from the bar next door. Only 11 minute walk to train station, 5 minute walk to Vaporetto (water bus)

Very cute apartment. It had everything we needed. Large kitchen that is very well stocked if you wanted to dine in. Nice large living area to gather in. Excellent restaurant across the street. We would recomend booking here.

True local Venice vibe

We liked the are in a residential non-tourist part of town. 2 Restaurants on the narrow street just below our windows were noisy till 11:00 pm but sounded like fun. Easy access walking to everything. Nice central location for getting the vibe of Venice without the tourist hype.

Lovely apartment in a great area

The check in process was very good. Manolitas met us at San Stae stop and brought us to the apartment pointing out good places to eat on the way. She gave us all the information we needed and told us to contact her if there was any problems. Directly opposite our apartment was a great bar and beside it a great restaurant. Around the corner was the very lively Campo S. Giacomo da l'Orio which had more good restaurants and a supermarket with helpful staff. It also hosted volleyball games and on one night Latin dancing. Great place.

GREAT LOCATION - IDEAL FOR COUPLE OR A VERY SMALL FAMILY

A last minute trip and our second stay here. Some small mechanical issues but still a great place to stay for a couple or a small family. San Giacomo del Orio is a quiet area. There are two bars below that provide some noise late into the evening but never a bother to us.The beds were uncomfortable for my wife but not to me . The door didn't latch but this was easily remedied by throwing the bolt from the inside and leaving the key.

Enjoyed our stay

We loved the location minus the bar crowd that gathered outside our door every evening. Something to consider if you want to go to bed before 11:30 or so. Bedding was not comfortable and some amenities like toilet paper could not be found. Needed to purchase a few more products to get by. Again, loved the location and check in was easy and well explained minus details about sharing passports so that we were registered. Host was upset that we didn’t do this in time, but never explained that there was a timeline or instructions on how to do so prior to ache king in.

The property exceeded our expectations.

This isn't your typical budget rental. The owner has exquisite taste, and the apartment is beautifully renovated. It features wooden floors, huge windows, and stylish high ceilings. Since we are a family of five with young children spending a week in Venice, we needed to have all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a functioning shower. We were pleased to find that they were all working well. The property manager was very responsive, and we really appreciated the opportunity to have an early check-in and a late check-out. One slight downside was the cigarette smoke near the building entrance (a popular cafe is right in front of it). However, this apartment is still a gem, and all the pros outweigh this small con.

Great location. Can walk basically anywhere on either side of grand canal! Kitchen equipped nicely, although we did not use it. Close to a few nice restaurants and a bakery, grocery store. I was stressed about access and was kindly sent photos with step by step instructions. The beds and bedding could be nicer, but were adequate. Something to note that was not in the info is that there is a very noisy bar right across the walkway, and patrons spill out in sidewalk, smoking and drinking. It can be loud but it stops pretty close to 11 pm every night, so it was not a problem for us. And the patrons were friendly. However, if you have little ones, it might be an issue. Having the washer was convenient. No dryer but there was a drying rack. All in all it was a good stop. It could be fabulous with just a couple changes.

Great location, host very rude.

The property is as advertised. Great Central location and an easy Walk to most areas. The bar across the street is loud until about 11pm but not too bad. The biggest complaint I have is the host service. We had Fabrizio meet us at the prearranged location. We had agreed we would meet him there at 7:45 and had multiple emails to this agreement. When we were ready to take the boat from the airport we called him as requested and told him we were on our way. He was upset and said he had already been waiting for over an hour. I explained our meeting time was sent for 7:45 and we would be there as soon as the boat arrived. He was still upset and wanted us to take a very expensive private transport so he could be done earlier. When we did meet him at 7:50 he was very condescending and said multiple times we should have taken a faster boat. I showed him the email with the meeting time and he said that doesn't matter he expected us sooner, scolding me like a child. The next evening we had trouble with the lock on the door and called him for help. We were locked out. He answered and became agitated we were bothering him, told me not to call back and hung up on me! We were locked out! After a frantic half hour we were finally able to get the broken key out and got in with the spare. Because of this man I would not recommend staying here.
