"Arrived at the end of the season when the region was very quiet, so some amenities closed. In full season there would have been lots to do including the floral park next door. Castle has an interesting history and ornate facade and is complete with Rapunzel tower and grand salon. Our room was up high with a pleasant view of the drive. "Our room wasn’t cleaned/serviced at all during our two night stay. We left the sign on the door asking for the room to be serviced at 10am and returned at 5pm to find it never was. When checking out I told the concierge this and I was completely ignored, his response was to ask me if he can charge the card they had on file. No apology, not even a goodbye, he just handed me a receipt and looked to the next person in the queue to check out."
