I'm giving the Hotel a 2 Star review because of how hard their staff worked to make things right, otherwise it would be a 1 Star review.
The checkout process was somewhat problematic because apparently Hotel policy was to collect contact information for EVERY adult checking in, why couldn't the adult that made the reservation be enough? They insisted on emails and phone numbers for everyone.
The Hotel had AC maintenance issues and members of our party had to move twice because the AC in their room didn't work. The 1st room would be set at 18°C but would only cool down to 25, which is not cold at all. The 2nd room was worse, finally the 3rd one was cool enough to enjoy our last night there. I was told their AC guy only worked during the day so if any AC came up after duty hours could not be resolved until the next day. Apparently the Hotel doesn't have shift workers for their AC maintenance team. We were not the only guests having issues with AC either, I heard a few others complaining about it.
The Hotel also did not provide an iron for guests, instead pointing out that they had laundry service, which is quite pricey in my opinion. I've traveled to 5 continents, 43 countries total and this is the 1st time I've ever stayed in a Hotel that did not provide an iron.
It's a shame we had such a bad experience, but I don't blame the staff because they really did try their best but greedy owners or incompetent management make it hard for them.
