Family-friendly alpine flat (1 hour from BGY airport)

**WE ARE 1 HR DRIVE FROM BERGAMO AIRPORT

Surrounded by nature, the flat is both close to the woods and just a short walk from the centre of Valbondione village (altitude 900m).
Valbondione is known for the Serio waterfalls, among the highest in Italy. The main peaks of Orobic Alps (+3,000m) are located within Valbondione’s borders.

Walking distance: bars, pharmacy, restaurants, grocery store, playground, cycle path, cross-country skiing track.
5 min by car from Lizzola ski area and 10 min from the picturesque Gromo medieval town.

The flat, built in traditional alpine style, stands out for the splendid view of the valley.
It comprises entrance hallway, bathroom with washer/dryer, living room with kitchenette, thermoventilated fireplace, sofa bed, balcony. On the upper floor there is a double bed, two single beds, a sofa bed (French size). Wifi connection and use of garage are included free of charge.

Families and babies are warmly welcome!! We can provide upon request (free of charge): cot, high chair, changing table. Children’s books and toys are available for guests.

*FOR FAMILIES
The nearby Seriana Valley cycle path (walking distance from flat), surrounded by mountains, streams and grassland, offers a great opportunity for walks or cycling trips (bike hire available in the village). It is 60km long and runs alongside the Serio river.

The typical alpine hamlet of Maslana (not reachable by car) is the destination of an easy 45-minute hike.
In winter, a cross-country skiing track is arranged in Valbondione (ski rent available).
From Lizzola hamlet (5 min by car from the flat), an easy 20-minute walk lead to the Piane di Lizzola, a picturesque plateau surrounded by mountains and rich of lodges and water streams. Cable cars reach 2,000m.
A 15-minute drive takes to the medieval village of Gromo, classified as one of the most beautiful villages of historical interest in Italy (‘Borghi più belli d’Italia’ selection). Not far away, in Spiazzi di Gromo, there are ski lifts, a refuge, an adventure park and downhill slopes.

*FOR HIKERS
Hikers will be spoilt for choices in Valbondione and its surroundings. The village is the starting point for hike trails to a series of mountain lodges (Curò, Brunone, Coca, Campel, Mirtillo, 2Baite) and peaks over 3,000m (pizzo Recastello, pizzo Coca, pizzo Redorta, punta di Scais...). Lizzola hamlet hosts ski facilities and other hiking opportunities.
