「Didn't look at the pool as it was too cold being late winter! Very comfortable and clean rooms, great dinner in the dining room, helpful receptionists, and a very nice and helpful night watchman, Ben, making the place feel safe. Good to drive the car through the gates at night too, even though the Himeville and Underberg areas feel safe.」

「The rooms are okay and they are perfect for the price. However, the host did not tell us we would be sharing the house with other guests abs this caused a startle with those we found in the house already. The gyser was not working and this was on a 9degree Celsius weather where we had to take a night and morning cold shower. 「We had a great stay at Moorcroft for two nights. Couple of tips: 1) Exit at Howick off N3 as the roads are paved, 2) Bring rain gear as it rained quite a bit when we were there, 3) Aim to arrive before sunset as it gets quite dark on the roads, 4) The kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. and there aren’t too many options nearby.
