Perfect spot 👌

I really enjoyed my stay beautiful view, just a walk to Gateway Mall, breakfast 😋was delicious. Service very good and they pay attention to details.

Personnel de la réception peu à l'écoute limite désagréable. Ne fait pas d'effort pour se faire comprendre. Ne previennent pas des coupures électriques récurrentes en Afrique du Sud ce qui est embêtant pour charger les ordi et portables Manque de proactivité au niveau réception. Le personnel hors réception est très très sympa. Attention à 19H30, le restaurant est fermé !! Très propre, parking sur place

Great location to all amenities, only disappointing part was at breakfast when i asked for another glass of apple juice i was told to pay an additional R16 over and above the amount i was already charged for breakfast!

Regal Inn Review

We enjoyed our stay at the Regal Inn. We got a good value for money deal through Hotels.com. The location of the hotel is good - close to the beach, eateries and bars.

Empfang nicht sehr freundlich, aber ok. Keine Infos erhalten ausser wo das Zimmer ist. Zimmer klein, aber sehr schön. Klimaanlage, TV vorhanden. Bett sehr weich.

It was good

It was a good stay. Rooms are a bit small and it would be better if they at least had a bar fridge and microwave in the room instead of at reception, especially considering that there is no restaurant in the building

Awesome and affordable place

Very nice place to stay. Central to most facilities. Short walk to Gateway mall. My only gripe was housekeeping leaves early so I didn't get fresh linen when I requested it on my last evening

I will not give regal inn 3 stars. Rooms are so close that you can hear every sound from the next room. Had to be moved by night receptionist, because of noise from next room.Not suitable for family with kids. Only 10 TV channels, 4 sport , sabc123,etv,mnet action and smile. Beddings were dirty, towels were brown and coarse, complained but no response. Bed and pillows were most uncomfortable. Toilet paper is of the lowest quality. No bar fridge. Restaurant closes at 1pm. You can order from the delivery service booklet in your room but expect to pay double. For a burger advertised at R62, ended up paying R110. Paid for a deluxe room via hotel.com but was given a standard room. Night receptionist left a message for manager and I Emailed the manager to ask for a refund to move to another hotel but no reponse. Stayed in many hotels rangeing from 3 to 5 stars and managers response to complaints were prompt, helpful and efficient that made me want to go back. This is not value for money and the pics of rooms on internet is deceiving. Very uncomfortable and disappointing solo stay.

Beds needs to be changed

The environment is good, the Hotel looks good but the bed was very uncomfortable, it has a curve it's like a stadium. Even after asking them to change, I got another stadium. I was not happy with this

Lovely stay

Reception was friendly and polite also helpful. Room was nice and clean. Restaurant staff was friendly and so was security. He personally assisted when parking was full and said he will take good care of our vehicle. In the morning he came to us and said everything is ok.

Regal Inn Umhlanga Ridge

The hotel is very nice except the room service with regards to sweeping properly every day and insisting on keeping a king size duvet inner into a smaller double size inner was disappointing. Furthermore I had an issue with a refund which was eventually (2mths later) resolved. Other than that, the hotel itself, wifi and the location is great.
