Location is perfect if you focus on Seorak national mountain hike (of course it is close to beach resort). "After a hectic week in Seoul, this was a great place to relax and unwind. I was immediately greated and felt welcomed by the owner. The rooms are basic but comfortable. There is a light breakfast supplied. The bus is a 5 minute walk (#7 and 7-1) and for those who like walking/hiking, Seoraksan National Park is an easy hour away (by foot) as well as many other trails around this beautiful area. This place is a hidden gem."

"Mt Seorak the East Sea and Hot spring was a quaint hotel with lovely hospitable hosts. It was conveniently located only 10 min by bus from Seoraksan National Park. The usual amenities were provided and there was a nice hot spring water shower which was great after a day of trekking. The bed was firm with lovely soft pillows and quilt. It was value for money. I would stay there again."
