アイトヘーストのハウスボート

「We had a wonderful stay with Deep and Julie on their Catermeran. We enjoyed some wonderful sailing and anchored near an Island for the night. We had a lovely evening sharing stories over dinner and watching the sun go down! I was impressed how warm and cosy the boat was and how well we all slept! Waking up surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery in the morning was very special and we enjoyed basking up the sunshine before setting sail. It was a great adventure for both children and adults...

「The houseboat was amazing! It was incredibly serene and quiet, making it a wonderful place to relax. We were not far from Aalsmeer, which is a lovely town to explore. We took taxis to Hoofddorp, where we could easily hop on the train to travel around the area. The houseboat itself was spacious and comfortable to move around in, and both the beds and couches were very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the houseboat to others. There were two concerns worth...

「This houseboat was an excellent choice for our trip to Amsterdam! It’s centrally located, clean, looks exactly like the pictures, and our host Casper was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend, and would stay here again. He provided solid recommendations for exploring the beautiful city!」

「Great overall experience. It is situated in a calm area but close to all you could want to do as a tourist. We walked everywhere. Sitting on the deck for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening is great - you get see the boats and also the cute ducks. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. Very clean and all we needed was provided. A little tricky to get on and off with luggage but on arrival we did get help. Something to consider if you have mobility issues.」

「Was able to store luggage before check in time although host did not answer phone when I called before as agreed. Check in was smooth later. Shops and restaurants are nearby(less than 10 min walking). I would recommend putting in a dehumidifier since the boat was humid and made it feel cooler than it was. Bathroom with sink is awkward since sink is 1/2 way under an overhang of the deck so difficult to brush teeth and was face without getting water all over the floor. Would recommend installing...

「This property is both an elegant and cozy stay. If you've ever dreamt of living on a canal boat in Amsterdam this is the place to choose. A great location, close enough to cafes and restaurants yet in a quiet, calm and safe neighborhood. High-end decor, super clean, and nice touches such as a welcome toiletry kit. Looking forward to returning.」
