"Traveling from the Northeast we were thrilled with the cozy forest setting - so much like home, hidden within the desert hilltops, and yet so close to the ocean! The enchantingly decorated cottage and surrounding landscape design, including charming antiques, artwork and lighting effects, combined with contemporary household conveniences, delightful spa tub and pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pits, and easy communication with the hosts, made for a pleasant stay at this peaceful mountain resort. Easy access to Malibu beaches, Calabasas, Simi Valley, LA activities, and great canyon hiking trails were a definite plus. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were in the area for a large family gathering and enjoyed a late Sept visit - perfect for a little couples getaway! We’ll definitely consider returning in the future! "

"Had a wonderful stay at oak Canyon Rancho. The most beautiful property. Everyone loved the yurt, oak trees, pool, and open field. We had a blast! Randy, the property manager was the best ever. Kindness, nicest, most helpful person. This is a gem of a location! Highly recommended. "
