Discover your "Sweet Sunset" on North Tybee Island - a beautifully updated 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom beach retreat that has everything you need for an unforgettable vacation! Just a few houses from beach access, this spacious vacation home is perfect for a trip with the whole family or a trip catching up with old friends. The large screened-in porch is the ideal location for enjoying the island breeze with a cup of coffee in hand. The sundeck is the ideal place to truly relax and unwind, taking in a stunning sunset over the island! Plus, you're only a few steps from the sandy shore!

Step inside your vacation home away from home and prepare to be welcomed by an open living space on the second level. The living area features great hardwood flooring, a large sectional, and direct access to the screened-in porch. The screened-in porch is perfect for laid-back vacation life, with lounge seating and an outdoor dining table with seating for 6. The indoor dining space features seating for 6, making it the ideal space to gather for a meal with your entire vacation crew. The fully-equipped kitchen offers ample counter space and stainless appliances. There are two shared bathrooms on the second level.

Bedroom 1 is the primary bedroom located on the top level and features a king-sized bed, Smart TV, balcony access, and an ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bathroom has a jetted bath, a walk-in shower, and a double vanity. Bedroom 2 features a queen-sized bed and a Smart TV. Bedroom 3 features two twin-sized beds and a Smart TV. Bedroom 4 has a king-sized bed and a Smart TV.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

PETS: This home is NOT pet-friendly

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. The house is spacious and very close to the beach. It looked as described. Because we were traveling with a large group from very far, we didn't have room to bring all the items the home didn't supply (such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, extra bath towels, etc) so we had to make frequent trips to the store.

I’d really say 3.5 stars. Grill did not work, broken door in primary bathroom, shower in primary bathroom was gross. Overall, the house needs updating, including kitchen utensils, pans etc. Cleaning was questionable.

Check in was easy, however, when we entered the property, it was 76 downstairs and 85 upstairs. No instructions about anything in or around the home at the property. Called rental company and they did not know how to control the air conditioning at the home. Old instructions on the wall above thermostat outdated. Not at all pleased with the lack of help or guidance, so I contacted VRBO and spoke with a supervisor that was willing to intervene and assist us with trying to rectify the problem. However, we were not able to rent anything else on the island on such short notice. So, we ended up staying at this property, and had to reset the thermostat at intervals to cool and run all the ceiling fans day and night in order to get the home to about 74 degrees.

As described in listing

The house was nice and we enjoyed its proximity to the beach, which was pretty private. The house had several different gathering areas and we used nearly all of them at one time or another. Only two things marred our stay. There is a problem with the icemaker to the refrigerator: it leaks if you leave it on, and excess water spills over onto the floor. This has caused several boards in the beautiful hardwood floors to warp. Our only other issue was the mainfloor door to the screened-in porch. It was unreliable and difficult to close when we went in and out. The knob probably needs to be replaced, rather than to continue to attempt to repair the one in place.It would be helpful if the owners would allow override of the A/C controls. They were programmed to reset to 75 at 11:30 at night, which resulted in someone always having to get up in the night to move the temperature to something more pleasant.Kudos to the management company, which was exceptionally responsive to all of our requests!

Wonderful family vacation

We stayed over spring break with my in-laws and 3/4 of our children (kids ranging from 15-24 yrs of age). The property was perfect for us. Check-in/Check-out was easy! It was our first VRBO and could not have been more seamless. The only negatives were the pots and pan selections were limited (definitely need more) and the grill starter would not ignite (we went to the grocery store in town and purchased some long matches to get it lit). The deck could’ve used some cleaning of cob webs and such but the interior was nice and clean. Beds and linens were comfortable. The doors can bit a bit tricky but once you figure them out it’s smooth sailing. We would absolutely rent again.

Great location

Location was great. Nice screened in porch. However the home is dated with needing of upgrades. The house needed a good cleaning and the patio areas were dirty. One bed was comfortable but one other bed was very hard. The kitchen should be stocked with more cooking pans-pots. Recommend adding a Keurig or espresso machine. Recommend including a garage door opener so one didn’t have to close and walk around to access the car.
