A charming vintage cottage and getaway.
Pets welcome (they'll enjoy the fenced yard) and a 10 minute walk to the North Beach via Solomon Avenue. Complimentary WiFi, garden seating. Downstairs, Rose's Folie offers 2 bedrooms each with 1 queen bed.
There is also a full bathroom downstairs. The 2nd floor offers a 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds as well as a full bath with tub (no shower).
There are TVs in living room and all bedrooms. All TVs are cable-connected EXCEPT THE UPSTAIRS TV. UPSTAIRS TV IS SMART TV/NO CABLE. Rose's Folie is full of wonderful original art and unique touches.
North Campbell is next to Chu's Convenience and the golf cart rental. The Historic Tybee Guard House - ideal for weddings and special occasions- is 1 block away, as is JC Park for the kids to play! The Tybee Lighthouse and Museum are an easy walk as well.
Please note- the location is residential, however being so close to the restaurants and North End business district also means that during busy summer weekends and weeks, you are closer to traffic and noise. If you are looking for an extremely quiet location- this is not the location. If you are looking to be more in the heart of activity and close to restaurants and services, then this is the location for you! Let us know if you need us to clarify the restaurants and shops that are close to the cottage.

We love Tybee and and location is perfect for getting around the island. This is a super cute cottage with everything you will need. This is located on a busy road so there is some traffic noise but it does not take away from the house. We definitely would stay again!

The house was in a great location and a lot of fun for our family! Our kids appreciated the upstairs space. The small, fenced in front yard was nice for our dog and we appreciated that the kitchen was decently stocked with items for cooking meals. The cleanliness could've been better, though. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Great Stay

House was great for our family with 3 kids under 5. Close proximity to everything, and very walkable to the beach, local playground, light house, marine science center etc. Will consider staying here again in the future.

A week away

We absolutely loved our time here! It was a short 3-minute bike ride from the beach, so we were there constantly! The house is cute, and the property managers were excellent. We will definitely be back!

Nice cottage in good location

This cottage had everything we needed for a great weekend! The downstairs bedrooms were very comfortable. I suggested they add a light near the key holder to make it easier for late checking to find.

The cottage was very nice and clean. Mermaid Cottages were very helpful and so responsive. I would definitely rent from them again. Mattresses were uncomfortable so not a lot of sleep, but absolutely no complaints other than that.

Awesome getaway

My girlfriend and I were looking for a little weekend getaway and stumbled across Ed this listing on VRBO. We both knew right away that this was the place we wanted stay. Check in was easy, the communication with the rental staff was excellent and they were always there to answer any questions. Not too far from beach access. Would definitely recommend!

Great Rental Company

The mermaids were very helpful. They reached out to me when my initial house became unavailable due to plumbing issues and quickly provided options for a new house we could rent for the same weekend. The mermaids also checked in through text during the stay as well to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Charming Home, Great Location!

We spent a weekend in Tybee for our annual fossil shark's tooth hunt, and this house was perfect! It was very clean and welcoming, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. As advertised, the house is on a main road and there is quite a bit of traffic that comes by, but it was easy to get in and out of the driveway, and at night people were very respectful of noise levels. It seemed a little quieter than the other side of the island, and I loved being so close to the lighthouse and checking out the historical district. We definitely enjoyed staying here and would stay here again!
