My family of 4 and parents had a wonderful stay at Emerson's Chalet for Thanksgiving. All the coziness of a cabin with the luxuries of home. They even put up a Christmas tree prior to our arrival! The cabin was spotless and organized. The kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials and even included kid friendly dinnerware and utensils. The beds were extremely comfortable and the whole house was cozy. My daughters, 3 & 6, absolutely LOVED everything about this place. The toys, dolls and games kept them busy for hours so the adults could relax a bit. They also enjoyed the little craft cabin out on the deck. As someone who has been renting cabins with my family for 30+ years, I will say this one beats them all. The owner was super helpful and easy to communicate with as well. There is a book that covers all the details about the home, how everything works as well as things to keep in mind during your stay. This is super helpful so that you don't have to keep looking things up in the many emails you receive when booking. There is a family friendly hiking trail right outside the cabin and we also took a short drive to hike the heart rock trail in Crestline. Lake Arrowhead Village is a short drive away and there is a small market literally a 3 minute walk down the street from the cabin, just in case you forget anything. The space, location, amenities and communication with the host all get 5 stars from me!
