The unspoilt fishing villages of Crovie, Pennan, Gardenstown, Portsoy and Cullen are well worth a visit and although rural, the cottage is within an easy drive of Huntly, Turriff and Banff. The area boasts many festivals throughout the summer including Fochabers Speyfest, Dufftown Whisky Festivals, Portsoy Boat Festival, Turriff Show, Keith Show and various local highland games. Explore the rugged coastline, try pony trekking, tracing your ancestors or visiting National Trust properties. An ideal base to explore this lovely part of Scotland. Beach 18 miles.
