Watch the Fireworks from our patio or from the JW Marriott Resort!!! Casa de Sueños is located in prestigious Starr Pass, a golf community minutes from downtown, but tucked away in the foothills of the Tucson Mountain. It’s located on a private corner lot atop a hill with gorgeous city and mountain views. Exposed beams, turquoise accents, a wood burning fireplace, and artisanal furnishings are reminiscent of the Old Pueblo. Two suites are separated by a large living space. The primary suite has a wrought iron king bed and writing desk. The guest suite has 2 comfortable queen beds. The primary bathroom has a separate soaking tub and walk in shower. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination.

Step outside onto the patio and you will see why we fell in love with Casa De Sueños. It is located on a hill where you can enjoy vistas of the mountains and city lights. Glance to your left and you'll see the JW Marriott. The community at Starr Pass is surrounded by a world class, 27 hole Arnold Palmer course. Play amongst the majestic saguaros, enjoy a meal at the Catalina BBQ Grill on the green!

Our Casita is fully furnished with all the amenities of home. Take a 10 minute drive west and you'll lose yourself in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert where the mountains and sunsets are breathtaking. Head East for 10 minutes you're in the center of town, where culinary choices abound and you can find fantastic places for cocktails, live music and culture.

If you're looking for a hiking experience, Casa De Sueños is surrounded by endless trails. My favorite is the Lorraine Lee Trail at the mouth of the JW Marriott just up the hill from us. The views are spectacular! After a 1.8 mile morning hike, head to the JW for breakfast and pop in to the Spa, where you can enjoy the views.

Consider returning in the evening to enjoy a sunset and cocktail from the most fabulous patio in Tucson! There is horseback riding nearby, the Saguaro National Park and The Desert Museum. To escape the heat in the summer, or to play in snow in the winter, head 1 hour northeast and enjoy Mt. Lemmon. 45 minutes south on I-19, you're in the charming town of Tubac. Bring your passport, then head to Nogales, Mexico a short drive away. Pools!Spend time lounging at the JW Marriott’s pool collection has a lazy river, slide and huge hot tub for 45/day per person by reserving directly on the resort’s website. Rates are seasonal. The second pool option is an Olympic lap pool near the casita, with cabanas and towel service for 25/day per person. Casa De Sueños is our home away from home and we welcome you to experience the wonders of the Sonoran Desert and the rich history and culture of the Southwest.

Beautiful Casita

We rented this property for my brother and his wife so that they could be near our home while visiting us. They absolutely loved the casita. It was beautifully decorated and more than fully equipped with not just necessities but also special amenities like members' access to the JW Marriot Resort's pool and workout facilities, tennis rackets, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, etc. The casita was exceptionally clean and wonderfully updated. The owner did a wonderful job of providing information about the casita and the surrounding community. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice. We've already recommended this casita to others and plan to use this casita again for visitors.

Wonderful stay

Relax, hike, enjoy Tucson+bird

The unit is comfortable and inviting. The location is amazing directly adjacent to the State Pass trailhead for walks and hikes into Tucson Mountain Park and also a short drive to west Tucson and downtown Tucson.

Favorite Casita in Starr Pass

My family stays in Starr Pass at least once a year to visit my parents and have rented several casitas in this resort. This one is by far our new favorite. Check-in was easy, the place was clean, and the instructions were easy to follow. Everything inside felt newer and fresher than previous units we have stayed at. New furniture, appliances, floors, and bathrooms made it feel fresh and new. The kitchen had most everything you could need. The washer and dryer was top notch! The owner answered any question I had promptly. The back deck is lovely and has a great view of Tucson and the Sonoran desert. This unit comes with a pool pass (M-Th only) to the JW Marriott which my 5-year old son loved. We will return to this casita again!

Lovely casa, gorgeous view, fantastic host

My husband, teen son and I loved this place! Great view of the mountain - including a patio where we saw a roadrunner up close one night. Comfortable and clean, with a great host who checked in. Loved the proximity of good hikes, and the access to Marriott Pools. Highly recommend!

A Great Time at Starr Pass October 2023

This casita is in a prime location, with great views toward the main JW Marriott Resort, as well as, across the valley toward the Catalina Mountains. A swimming pool and a fitness area are within a short walk. The Pro Shop and golf course, as well as a restaurant are just beyond the pool. Additional restaurants and a large swimming pool with cabanas, and a lazy river feature located at the main resort, are a short drive or shuttle ride away. The casita is clean and well maintained and the two primary En Suites served three adults and a teenager well. We enjoyed the Saturday evening music at the resort while having dinner and enjoying views of the Tucson city lights. Communication with Thelma was excellent. Terry

Great Location to JW Marriott

A nice two bedroom villa located in the beautiful setting of the Arizona desert. A short walk to the Starr Pass Loop Trailhead if you enjoy hiking. Also, a short walk to the country club which provides shuttle to and from the JW Marriott. We were in town for a conference, and found the hotel to be sold out. That's when I found this location. Wonderful accommodations!

Casita with great mountain views

Very comfortable casita with great views. Really liked the separation between the bedrooms- lots of privacy for each couple. Liked having access to the hotel as well. Only thing is we realized we prefer staying closer to the foothills on the other side of the 10.

Excellent place to stay for 2 couples

The location was perfect for site seeing. You could take in the views of the mountains and city while relaxing on the patio. The Casita was very clean and well kept. The owner was very helpful. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Time in Tucson

I stayed for two nights at this beautiful property with my daughter and 12 year old granddaughter. The casita was perfect for us! Very clean, well-equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, a nice patio, great decor and a perfect location. It included access to the pool area and a work out area which we did not use but will definitely take advantage of during our next visit, which we hope will be soon. Thelma was a terrific host and communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. I am an experienced VRBO guest and this property was one of the best I have seen. We will be back!
