"We were within about 10 blocks of Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden - this meant the only time we actually needed to ride the bus was to and from Kanazawa Station, only 3 stops away. The rest was completely walkable with kids. The apartment was located in Kinboro- well known for the several hundred year old Samurai residences. We were within a few hundred meters of excellent dining options. One of those was Izumino, whose amazing owners stuffed us with sashimi and crab cakes and spoiled...

The staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The breakfast, however, was a bit underwhelming. The selection was fairly limited and didn’t offer much variety compared to what you might expect from a hotel of this level. That said, it wasn’t a major issue for us, as the rest of the experience more than made up for it. Overall, a very comfortable and well-run hotel with excellent service, and I would definitely stay here again."
