「​I had a wonderful stay at the lodge! The property has a lovely rustic charm, and my room was exceptionally clean. The only downside was that the staff at the front desk weren’t very friendly or welcoming. Other than that encounter, everything else was very good and I really enjoyed my time here.」

「Very nice hotel with the basics. Clean rooms, friendly staff, not many amenities. Sheets were scratchy but not unusable. The disappointment was the breakfast. You had a choice between yogurt, oatmeal, a sandwich or a breakfast burrito served with a side of what you can tell were frozen tater tots. I’d say skip the breakfast and come for the scenery. The location is beautiful and the price is very reasonable. 」

「We would definitely stay here again! We were there for a family get-together and it is a very nice property. Good fresh breakfast served daily and lots to choose from. Coffee, tea, hot cocoa available all the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is very convenient...it's right in the middle of everything. Only 15 minutes to Lake Tahoe and just minutes from downtown Truckee! We didn't go into the pool but used the Hot Tub almost every day - big and...
