"The property is literally a slice of heaven. The quiet was so noticeable & we loved not hearing constant road noise. Listening to the lunes, bull frogs, & the humm of the hummingbirds was a delightful treat! I especially enjoy kayaking & being able to do that everyday with hardly no effort is heaven for me! My son & our dog went hiking daily & absolutely loved it. Fires in the fire pit were another winner for us! Fabulous sunsets & coffee every morning out on the little island made meditation so enjoyable & beautiful! The quarters were clean, linens fresh, & we had everything we needed! The internet is slow, but that was a plus for us as well. We were able to unplug & reconnect with nature. I work on a computer 10-12 hours everyday, so this was absolutely what was needed & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighbors are so friendly & Vicky stopped by to check on us! I really can’t say enough about how great our stay was. This was our second time booking this location & we will be booking again! It’s well worth the drive! This spot has become my favorite place."
"Room was clean. Beds nice. Rooms Spacious. Stayed in a group and the key cards for multiple rooms needed to be reset multiple times. Pool was not working. Breakfast was good. There was an issue with cops and CPS and what I assume was sanctioned housing. But staff handled it great."
"7 Snowmobilers for one week. It is a perfect cabin for mid-winter snowmobilers. Plenty of space for 6 - 10 guys to relax, eat and unwind after a great day of riding. The guy who snow plowed the driveway did a great job and we had plenty of room to park 4 trucks with trailers. we had an issue with the incoming water line being frozen so we had no running water. the owner was absolutely fantastic about the situation. gave us a 50% refund and reimbursed me for all the water we had to buy. he was very cordial and easy to work with, Great Person ! This was our 3rd winter season there and looking forward to going back next year. It has all the amenities we needed for cooking, cleaning, sleeping and relaxing. Love the pellet stove. could use more eating utensils ( forks, knives and spoons). you also have to bring your own TV if you want to watch the Olympics, football games or a movie."
Blissful Lake Cabin 8 acres 2 fireplaces firepit hot tub
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this well-appointed cabin. It truly had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Even with the snow falling, we spent our evenings building cozy fires in the outdoor pit and enjoying the hot tub. When we weren't outside, the basement TV made for perfect movie nights. The highlights of our trip, however, were the breathtaking sunsets over the lake, which we watched daily from the spacious living room. The property offered incredible privacy and a serene quietness because there are no neighbors nearby. All we heard at night was the occasional owl. I recommend the pleasant lake cabin if you're looking for a relaxing vacation with all the amenities."
Adirondack Area Trout Lake Waterfront Cottage, Hot Tub, Pontoon Boat, Upstate NY
10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was exactly what we were looking for during our Fall stay for rest and relaxing. The views every morning and evening were gorgeous. We love that the cabin is pet friendly so our dogs could join us for the week. We used the hot tub almost every evening to watch the sunset which were amazing. The amenities were outstanding which included use of the pontoon boat. There are also a few trails that you can walk to without having to get into your car. Our favorite was the Trout Trail that took you to the Boy Scout bay area. Lake Placid was about 2 hours away so we took a day trip to there. Beautiful scenery. Overall, we felt at home during our stay and loved the area. So peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend."
