The room is a bit small, the location is great, the people at the front dest was a hit or miss, but for the most part, they were friendly. 2-3 Restaurant across the street, 2 of them that we tried, were great food and service. Breakfast was ok, loved the option of a salad for breakfast. Overall it was GOOD experience at the Noto.

Super charming and stylish (traditional Florentine) hotel. Many rooms (eg mine) overlook beautiful Piazza Santa Maria Novella and its church. Lovely views. Nice bathroom, very professional and friendly service from all the personnel there. The street level bar (inside
outside sections) seem to be favored by cool locals as well as guests. The food menu covered lots of bases and everything I sampled was delicious. Check out the Napoleon salon!

Hotel Ventura / Philia was surprisingly good 3 star budget hotel near termini . The room was spacious for a solo traveller ( so it’s the room in Expedia with one large queen bed and one single bed ) , air conditioned ( the unit is at the window and not the one over the entrance door ) . Staff were nice , very good at English especially the lady with curly hair . It is convenient to termini for the airport bus , you can walk to the forum and colleseum or you can get the metro to the Vatican at termini . Very surprised . Very pleased . Very happy !
