"We had such a great stay at this property. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and it rained the whole time we were visiting. At the end of a long day of sight-seeing it was so nice to come home to a cozy spot. Everything about the listing is spot on, so many little comforts provided by the hosts - coffee pods, linens, towels, welcome bottle of local sparkling water. Can't wait to return when it's not raining cats and dogs."

"We had a wedding about 10 minutes from the property and it was perfect for us and our college kids to meet up. Spacious and a wonderful, quiet location for us to relax before the wedding. Plenty of space for us all to get ready and sleep comfortably. The back deck was great for us to have a few cocktails and enjoy to beautiful weather. "Very unique being a castle. Has to be seen to be believed! It was comfortable. However, Amsterdam has little to offer. Pretty run down, no stores anywhere. Breakfast is not included as the dining room is closed down. Closest place to get breakfast is about a 3 mile drive away. In such a strange place, there is actually a great Italian restaurant almost across the road. The only restaurant around. Glad we saw the castle and experienced it but we will not be back to Amsterdam."
