The picturesque lakeside of Lenno is home to not only the fashionable Lido di Lenno but also the famous Villa Balbianello (whose gates are reached in a 5-minute drive), a host of charming cafes, an array of authentic Italian restaurants and supermarkets (just 10 minutes on foot) to complement your self-catering stay. The well-serviced resort town neighbours the historical village of Ossuccio (home to another family-friendly Lido, tennis courts and the ‘Sacro Monte di Ossuccio’ climb) and is within enviable reach of the Tremezzina shore (home to a fantastic array of restaurants, bars, Lidos, the famous Villa Carlotta attraction and the main passenger and ferry port of Cadenabbia).
