We stayed here with our 2 kids (ages 13 10). Not our first time to TC, but our first go with an apartment booking. Overall, we loved our time here and would consider booking again for a short stay. Here are a few notes to help you decide if it’s right for you:
Pros:
• Walkable: It’s about 5-10 min on foot to Front St shopping/dining. Felt safe.
• Parking: Free lot behind the building was always full, though paid parking garage is right beside the building and is well lit and secure. Expect to pay approx $20 per day to use.
• Kitchen is fully stocked.
• Clean. Building smells a bit like new construction. Room had a pleasant/soft cinnamon smell.
Cons (likely being a bit picky here, but worth noting, I think):
• Utility closet (we think) is located behind a locked door in the bedroom. It is incredibly loud and turns on/off at any time.
• Bed in bedroom was firm for our liking. Only one charge dock, 4 pillows, 2 duvets (no covers)
• Cleanliness: While overall clean, we noticed some splatters on the stove, toilet lid and back of bathroom door. Bit dusty. Dryer had not been emptied.
• There were only 3 bath towels. Not ideal for a fam of 4. Suggest bringing your own if you have more than 3 guests.
• Second door on laundry closet does not open easily.
• Shower head is small and not really positionable. The drain is in a well, so watch where you step because the floor is uneven.
• Dining table is glass and coffee table is mirrored. Beware with little ones.
