Property staff were attentive, helpful, welcoming. The view was beautiful. Location is exactly what we needed for the reason we were in the area. The interior was acceptable. We find like many other establishments in the area, the interior is very dated and worn. Living room furniture was uncomfortable and difficult to unwind and relax on. Most of the fabric coverings on the chairs are soiled and stained. We found a used napkin and empcandy wrapper on the shelf near the TV. With a few updates or adjustments this would be an amazing property to stay at again.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at North Shore Inn. The property manager was exceptionally helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. The vacation rental itself was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness that made us feel immediately at home. I was particularly pleased with the location, which offered easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.The condition of the vacation rental was satisfactory overall. While the unit appeared a bit tired, it was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was maintained impeccably. The exterior of the property, along with the pool and beach areas, was also very clean and updated, adding to the overall appeal of the location. Additionally, our check-in experience was seamless thanks to the front office staff, who were friendly and accommodating. In conclusion, I recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for a great getaway. North Shore Inn truly exceeded my expectations!

Keep in mind that we’re comparing this to other places we have stayed on the ocean.The unit we rented Is a but outdated and smaller than we expected. For the price, we were disappointed. The pool was nice. The view was nice. But the beach had a muddy rim so we used the sand bars to step in. It was shallow for miles (well, at least for 200 yards from the beach where the water was only thigh high). We had to go to the state park to have a proper swim. Very disappointed. We would not have scheduled this location had we known. We had 2 cars and only one was allowed parking on site. One car had to be parked across a 6-lane road so real life Frogger was the game that we were forced to play. :(The proximity itself was good. We weren’t far from downtown or Torch Lake. The staff was very friendly. All in all, we won’t return to this location.

Beautiful View - Helpful Manager

The management team was so helpful and quick to respond to a couple of emails we sent prior to our visit. Greatly appreciated! The condo is very nice, although the couch could be updated for appearance and comfort. The primary bedroom on the second level is so large, cozy and well appointed. Might suggest a coffee bar in the room. The view from downstairs and upstairs was beautiful and watching the sunset was stunning. Check-in and check out was a breeze. The condo was well appointed and just what we needed for a brief break. We will definitely be staying again!

Fun little getaway

We stayed here to run the bayshore half marathon and this place was perfect. Just 3 miles from where we needed to be for the start of the race and also very clean and good to come back to, to relax

great location nice floorplan

comfortable beds and furnishings, great view of the lake, great location, well decorated and good supplies. Only suggestion is to update the main level shower and bathroom. Additionally a neighbor must have been using marijuana during our stay and the smell was bothersome as it filtered inside this rental unit.

Great stay, cozy condo

What a great place! Our condo was really nice. The couch and chairs and beds were all comfy, the views were lovely, and the kitchen was very nice and well-stocked with staples and dishware. The upstairs bedroom was lovely, with its own beautiful view and balcony. The heat worked well (it was cold out!). And the staff at the North Shore Inn was just as wonderful. Everyone we talked to--front desk, manager, housekeeping--was very very kind and friendly, and very keen to make sure we were happy and had everything we need. Outstanding stay!

Great location, great staff

Stayed for 2 nights, will definitely return. The resort staff are friendly, the property is very well kept. Our unit was clean and exactly as soon in the pictures.

May Getaway

We have stayed at this condo twice and have enjoyed our stay each time. The unit is very clean and comfortable and the views of the bay from the balconies are stunning! We definitely plan to come back in the future!

Long Fall Weekend

Very nice two bedroom two bathroom condo. Kitchen was tight but well stocked with nice appliances. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice as well. Would definitely stay again.

Great Property to stay at! 👍

Unit was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, friendly staff. Great location - we visited Mackinaw Island, Tunnel of Trees, Old Mission peninsula lighthouse and wineries, and the Sleeping Bear dunes - all two hours or less drives from the unit. Right on the bay with a beach. Only issue was 4+ inches of rain during the time we were there - definitely not the owner's fault! 😁

Perfect Getaway

I stayed here with my husband and parents for a wedding nearby. It was perfect for us. The upstairs area was huge!!! The balconies had a great view!
