"Wir sind sehr oft hier und da unterwegs, sehen daher allerhand Unterkünfte. Meist gut bewertet aber wenn man dann da ist, eher ernüchternd bis erschreckend. Ganz anders hier. Wir kennen die Gegend und haben Verwandte dort, entsprechend suchten wir etwas passendes an dieser wunderschönen Talsperre. Die Unterkunft war aus unserer Sicht einfach perfekt bei Preis und Leistung. Sauber ordentlich, viel Liebe zum Detail, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Absolute Empfehlung! "das Ferienhaus ist super, genauso wie die Gastgeber!!! Im Haus fehlte es an nix, alles ist da. Es gab sogar ein Willkommensgastgeschenk für jeden. Frische Eier und selbstgemachte Marmelade und Süßigkeiten-tolle Überraschung. Sehr nette Gastgeber, immer zu sprechen... Dieses Ferienhaus empfehle ich sehr sehr gern weiter. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle !!!"

Genuinely excellent hotel

"Genuinely exceeded my expectations. The architecture is open and airy, which gives a sense of being outside, the deco is minimalist and room spacious, clean and with quality toiletries. The food both for breakfast and dinner was excellent and made of wholesome ingredients however the real strength of the hotel in my view is their staff who seemed to understand my needs and nothing was ever too much. Especially the lady in the moonlight bar who is so welcoming and when you are a solo traveller on a business trip that can make the whole difference.! thank you Dorint "

Schloss Weissenburg - misleading pictures

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

"Great hotel for a great price. Clean, modern, well equipped. Quadruple room was great for us and our two kids. Would love to have parking better marked as well as signs at the back entrance. We arrived after dark and it was a bit uncomfortable driving around back of the building, but once we found our way it was just fine. Would certainly stay here again!"

"The checkin was really unprofessional, nothing was prepared, all data had to be filled out again on paper, the staff was absolutely not welcoming. They did not even inform me about a 25 EUR early checkin fee upfront. They gave me a room right above the smoking area. It smelled and was noisy. At the checkout they claimed I had breakfast. Never did and never ordered it. The front desk staff was not welcoming or friendly at all. Not what I expected at this house. Poor!"
