A friend who was considering spending a week with us had to change her plans, The kitchen was woefully equipped: no storage space for food, no pedal bin, no cutting board, no cutting knife or bread knife... The rack to dry washing was derelict too. Our neighbours in the adjoining apartment complained of the same lack. "Superb modern hotel within easy walking distance of the town’s attractions. The bedroom was very well equipped and the king size bed was fabulously comfortable. As we had torrential rain during our stay, we were glad of indoor garage. But for the rain, we would probably have tried one of the many nearby restaurants as the hotel only has a limited choice cafeteria but the food and service were excellent and very modestly priced. Breakfast was copious and delicious. We will return!"

"Very characterful property with parking right outside the building. Lovely breakfast and the homemade lemonade was very refreshing.
