This Ramada Plaza is more a four, than a five-star, and appears dated. Service wrt parking at the front, front desk, and baggage was great. The buffet breakfast was quite extensive, and the outdoor pool area was lovely. However, while the room had a comfortable bed and good size, we were overwhelmed in both our rooms with the overpowering perfume smell that the hotel uses, so much so that we tried our best to aerate our rooms. The “city view” at lower levels is the wall of the parking lot and the bathroom has no hair conditioner.

The property is located on the beach of the Black Sea. We viewed the sea from our private balcony. The property is also located next to the main highway, so access to parts of Trabzon are easy to get to from the hotel. The restaurant was excellent and best of all, the hotel has a masseuse on site that is excellent.

The view you see in the photos is supposed to be a city view room — if you can tell which city it is, please let me know. The room was relatively clean, but smaller than what the photos suggest. I couldn’t find any electric car charger. There is a wedding hall at the lower level of the hotel, and during both nights of our stay there were weddings, making it impossible to find parking. The hotel’s multi-story parking was extremely dirty, the entrance greeted us with the smell of garbage, and there was no direct access from the parking to the hotel floors.

Clean rooms. Breakfast buffet has differs variety and food was good. The hotel is less than 5 min drive from the airport and it’s right on the main road. It’s easy to get in and out of the hotel. It’s about 10 min drive from the shopping areas. It has a nice big swimming pool and also has access to the beach. It was a lovely stay/

Overpriced and not at all 5 star in my book

The hotel was overpriced. Rooms are OK but bathroom was fairly worn-out. The hotel is located close to the airport so noice from departing planes if part of the package. Staff are nice but not properly trained. We has problems with our booking upon arrival as they couldn’t find it in their system and subsequently claimed that it had been cancelled.

The only Hotel in the World I have stayed in that give you a Free Down Grade not an upgrade. I booked a business suite “ Sea View “ surprisingly it was looking over next hotel parking lot and Partial Sea View. I asked to change my room to a sea view they said 300 Euros. Very bad management no courtesy

Don’t book Business suite it’s facing another hotel and their parking lot Partial view of the sea. If you don’t like it the Hotel management has no courtesy or care to make you happy. They are careless. They refused to credit me back because moved to the deluxe room with front sea view and cheaper that the ugly parking lot view. Lousy business management. So 👎👎👎

Nice hotel but needs improvement.

It was good, but restaurant staff from chef to waiters were not friendly at all. Many Waiters standing and not even asking if anything needed. Not even asking if coffe or tea needed. The cook lady who makes omlet very angry at guests when they ask for something or cant explain their need. Pool towels are smelly. Turkish kese kopuk service was poor, didnt even last 40 min.

We chose this hotel as one of the best in Trabzon. Overall it was okay but several points the hotel management would be good to consider: 1. It was totally unclear when housekeeping service comes. We were told at around 10, but we seen it comes anytime during a day. So with water bottles, they may remember about you at 6 pm in evening and bring water bottles. 2. When Cleaning services come (not housekeeping) they would bin anything partially they see - chips, used water, halfly remaining pack of seeds, whatever they see. And when I asked Why, the say cause it s used and could accept the fact that I have not eat all the chips over a night because tomorrow cleaners will just bit it if I left some. I never seen something like this anywhere in the world, especially in top hotels. Cleaning itself is average, of you heen in Dubai or Abu Dhabi Ramada, dont expect the same here. 3. When I asked reception for iodine, that should be in any first aid kit, they said we dont have it. 4. There were no toothbrush and tooth paste in the room on a first day, and when we askedz they brought only one however there were 2 of us. Second they brought later, but brush seems to be used before, so I bought new one. Plusses: Location, near the Black sea, sandy beach Breakfast is very good
