Place needs a good deep clean. Pillow cases had stains and the walls and utensil drawers are dirty. Pool and view is nice. Id stay there again if it had a good clean up

We visited for a basketball tournament and the staff and accommodation was well suited with its gym, pool and sauna. Also the ability to cook and clean.

Back again

We have been visiting Townsville for the last 15 years for work and now for health (nothing serious). For the last couple of years Islington at Central has been our preferred place to stay, the apartments are a good size, it's close everything and has secure parking.

This property exceeded our expectations. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and it was huge, with lovely views of the river, mountains and stadium. The location is very convenient, walking distance to the Cowboys leagues club and stadium which was the purpose of our trip. There are options within walking distance for dining, takeaway and groceries. Check in and check out was very easy also. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Townsville.

Property was pretty good - the lay out was great. The customer service was very poor and reception was closed most of the time (despite the opening hours on the door).

Dirty, noisy. Separated by a different tower from the person I was travelling with and her room was so bad she moved in with me. We were there for business and will never stay there again.

Staff were professional and friendly however, the cleanliness of the rooms were terrible. Mould throughout the property in bathrooms, on ceilings and on curtains. Air conditioners stunk and filters were dusty.

The view across the creek to the Cowboys Stadium was great. The floor plan worked well for our needs - car park and checkin was awesome - but there were some things which could’ve been better. Information about local facilities and things to do would’ve been appreciated. Also, maybe some security advice. The place also could have benefited from more soft furnishings to dampen the echo which was very hard to deal with. The TV was awful - too small and terrible sound. The beds were clean, but too soft. Taps kept falling off, missing drain coverings in sinks, and one floor wastes was loose in one of the showers. One blind was also not attached, so we couldn’t close up at night properly. More utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment to make it more self sufficient would have helped. The sauna also didn't work. The locations was okay… not really near anything,

Fantastic big apartments in a Great location. Friendly staff. Shame the maintenance has not been kept up. Mould above shower cubicle easy remove but left not cleaned? Pool looked green.
