"We had a great stay during the very hot UK weather. The cottage stayed comfortable and relatively cool though as it is well sheltered and shaded. Comfortable sofas and beds, well equipped kitchen, good water pressure for the showers and simple check in and check out process. A quick 5 - 10 min walk in to town and a moderate climb back up which wasn't too bad. Plenty of beaches, shops and bars near by and a great convenient location in St Ives to stay. "Clean room on daily basis ; Staff were all friendly and helpful; Breakfast offers complete variety of an English breakfast; Bar is always open and have some entertainment (live bands and karaoke night) every weekend on summer time. The location itself is close to Jubilee pool, beach, penzance harbour, high street, park and walk to Newlyn (neighbouring town) along the promenade. You can leave your luggage before checking in and after checking out."

"Splendid location of traditional seaside hotel. The full seaview we had from our double bedroom was amazing and calming and we enjoyed the mid week craft sale in the dining room. Staff were generally welcoming and helpful but there could have been a few more on duty at breakfast as noone came to offer us tea or coffee."

"Really enjoyed our stay , not a complaint but I guess there could have been a conversation around the assigning of the rooms where the larger suite was given to a party of 1 and smaller to two . More about just how things are communicated . The place was amazing , loved its location and the facilities within the suites were ideal to be able to accommodate if deciding to cook our own meals ."

"Lovely hotel and location with friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean with lovely sea views. The restaurant and bar area were very pleasant. I would have been happy to give 5 stars but the meal at the hotel on the first night was appalling and the group did not eat there again. The cooked breakfast on the first morning was greasy and unpleasant. Subsequent mornings it was better."

"We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a nice view out on to the sea. The breakfast was wonderful, too - great variety of foods, fresh and local ingredients! We did enjoy the location - it’s a short walk to the beach in Carbis Bay and the perfect location for exploring surrounding areas. We would love to come back in the future."
