I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. "Great hotel, with great location by the river and great 3rd party underground parking right opposite. Only issues were Breakfast, Sunday morning was Chaos, the 1 member of staff did their best, but everything was lacking, like tables not cleaned, and at any one time when you went to the buffet there was always a few things that had run out, from clean plates, glasses, Cups, ran out of Waffle batter, no tomatoes, no fresh juice, no pastries.. they would re plenish one thing only for 2 others to run out, felt sorry for them, as should have been staffed better. Aircon was weak, fair enough the weather was very hot, but the room was at best a little cooler than outside, not cold, as you could expect from a new building ran by a premium chain. Having said all this it is the 3rd time I've stayed here and would definitely stay again or at its sister hotel across the road when next passing Tours way."

"Beautiful old-world hotel right in the centre of Tours. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and the hotel staff very kindly upgraded us to one of the suites! We loved the room and its art deco style: huge space, big bathroom and the aircon was excellent. Excellent breakfasts and the staff were so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"

"We stayed here for one night as a stop-over break on our journey to Southern France and Tours is a great place to relax and eat out. This hotel was in very good condition, very clean, friendly staff right in the centre of the city with off-road secure parking. We had a family room, which was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included for free in the price which made it very good value and the children were able to eat well with lots of choice. Checking in/out was very straightforward. The only reason it wasn’t a 5* review was that we would have liked some drink making facilities in the room to make coffee/tea which isn’t much to ask for. Otherwise a very good cost effective hotel to stay."
