"This property was perfect for our family of 9! Lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed the big table and played games provided. The host came and explained the induction cook top and how it worked! My only negative was the towels provided in the room my husband and I stayed in, was not bath towels, but oversized hand towels to use. Everyone else seemed to get regular bath towels. But, we managed. We all enjoyed being in the country, it was very quiet and relaxing."

"Excellent breakfast, good large king bed, but room lacked temperature control. Very good water pressure on shower but no hand-held nozzle. Asked for nightstand lamp because it was dark which they promptly provided. Pleasant staff. Good parking."

"I was in room 36 on ground level,which was v useful. I think it would suit someone with mobility issues as sink low,walk in shower,alarm cord. Comfortable double bed. Clean room. Slight noise from corridor doors and car doors parked outside window. Rather ‘musty’ smell in room,but not damp feeling,and nothing to make me speak to Hotel team. Lots of hot water and lovely shower. Efficient and professional staff. Waiter and chef v helpful one night accommodating visiting guest requests. Breakfast varied and ample. Dinner very good. Handy for exploring but I was glad I had a car. Reasonable room prices for an early September stay. Overall,I was happy with my visit to the hotel."

"The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed to rest between our adventures. The garden and back patio were so serene, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening! Castle Island is a short drive away and convenient for groceries and/or restaurants. Thank you for sharing your space with us!"

"I can’t speak highly enough of my stay at Kay’s place... but I will try. First of all, Kay’s communication was excellent…from the moment I booked to the moment I arrived where Kay met me and my golf buddies. Kay walked us through the house and showed us where everything was. Additionally, she told us all about the surrounding areas and gave us some great suggestions of things we could do. Kay even made dinner reservations for us at a local establishment. She constantly was reaching out to see how things were going. What a truly amazing host we had. The house was perfect for what we wanted and would be great for a bunch of guys on a golf adventure… and probably even better for a bigger family or a group of couples. The home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It has a big kitchen with a large table and another room with tons of glass that has another large table and is perfect for dinners etc. There is also a quaint TV room that seats at least 8 for relaxing, watching TV or just chatting with an after dinner drink. We didn’t ever make use of the “game building” that was just off of the main house. It has a lot of activities for kids od those competitive groups. Overall, I would rate my experience there as a 10 out of 10… made even that much better with Kay as the host. I HIGHLY recommend staying there if you get a chance as I will be back for sure if ever in that are again. Thank you Kay!"
