トロントの市内、ユニオン駅から歩いて数分のところにあり、ロケーションはとても良いです。 チェックイン時にスタッフの方も気さくに話してくれて、近くのおすすめスーパーなどを丁寧に教えてくれました。 一点だけ残念だったのは、朝方４時過ぎからホテルの外で何かを転がす音（おそらくドラム缶のようなもの？）がずっと鳴り響いており、目が覚めてしまうくらいうるさかったです。 ただこれはホテルのせいということでもないですが。。。 と、少し苦言を書いていますが、もしまたトロントに行く際にはまた利用しようと思います。

快適なホテル！
立地はすごくよく、バスルームも広くバスタブもあり、お湯も切れることなく出るし問題はなかったです。コーヒー、紅茶も部屋に準備されていて、カップ類も個包装されているので安心して使用できました。ローカの声や隣の部屋の声もほとんど聞こえないのでぐっすりと眠ることができ快適でした。

便利な立地のリーズナブルなシティホテル
トロント・ピアソン空港へ朝イチのUPエクスプレスで行くため，ユニオン駅になるべく近いところで宿を探しました．立地ではフェアモントに若干負けるけど十分駅に近く，コンパクトで高層すぎないホテルゆえエレベーター待ちなどがなくチェックイン・アウトともにスムースです． 中級ホテルですが荷物預かりも対応してくれるところが高ポイントで，価格も含めて必要十分を求める向きには利便性高いと思います．建物は古くとも部屋はきれいで，広くはないけどスーツケース広げるには十分でした．カーテンじゃなく木製ブラインドなのも，重いカーテンより良いと思いました． 周辺の飲食店がやや少ない印象ですが，向かいにコンビニ，ホテルにバーはあります．

駅からも近く、24時間営業のカフェも目の前にありロケーションは最高でした。 部屋は狭いですが、ツインの部屋で2人分のスーツケースを開くことはできたので、問題はないです。

Not happy
We arrived and were told the hotel had been turned into a shelter. The gentleman apologized and told us that our reservation had been sent to another hotel. We were dog tired and had to spend another $20 to go to another hotel. The alternate hotel was lovely but we had picked the Strathcona largely because it was a 3 minute walk to Union Station as we were moving to Halifax and had to be at the airport at 5am. We had to pay for a taxi 3 times instead of once. The man told us that because we had booked through Hotels.com, they didn’t have our contact information and could not give us advance notice. We have great sympathy and understanding of their situation however very disappointed that we were not notified by Hotels.com. We will be very hesitant to book this way again since the hotel is not given the ability to contact us is something happens.

Great Hotel
Great hotel. It is safe, clean, and the reception is excellent. It also is close to Union Station, supermarkets, and tourist attractions as CN Tower. The breakfast is expensive, but there is a Tim Hortons Cafeteria across the street.

The front desk staff was very attentive; I needed some minor first aid, which they were quick to provide. Also, I had difficultly with the printer for getting a boarding pass, and they were very helpful dealing with that, including using an alternative computer and printer.

It’s is more of a heritage property. Rooms are smaller, and walls are quite thin, so you can hear what’s happening in the hallways. Would say it’s a pretty professional property, but great if your here for travel and don’t need to be in your room long. Probably not ideal for kids or babies, as again, the walls are thin.
