Having driven 5 hours from Ottawa after a full day of work, we arrived only to be greeted by a partially finished basement with no drywall on sections of the ceiling, lights that were burnt out, fire alarm running low on batteries and beeping every 2 minutes, paint can being used to hold up one of the beds, and open air duct above the other bed that was dripping dust. We feel that what was listed on Expedia/Vrbo was not what was provided. At 1145pm, after not even being at the place for an hour, we were forced to find a last minute hotel at a last minute price. We have reached out to the owner requesting a refund and voicing our concerns, but he has not replied to our messages. We are extremely disappointed and are trying to get our money back.

Brampton

This rental met with our needs during our trip to Toronto along with the reasonable pricing. The basement dwelling had 2 separate bedrooms and was very clean and updated with a nice large bathroom. The owner allowed us to park in his driveway while their two cars were moved off the side of the front driveway. Since our family we’re sightseeing we would leave early in the morning and not return to the home until after 9 so the private entrance was helpful for us to use during our stay. The tv was not working but it could have been user error and since we were not there during day and we had laptops this was not an issue for our family. I did let them know to check the tv for their next guest.
