Good… but…

My group genuinely loved this experience, though there were a few caveats. The price was great for our budget, the check-in and communication with the owner was super easy and pleasant. The property itself was beautiful, matching the pictures. It wasn’t clearly stated though that this is a family home, with TWO basement apartments. At night all of the family’s movements could be heard late into the night/early in the morning. As we had a hefty itinerary, we weren’t there except at night. Had the plan been a relaxing getaway, this wouldn’t have been the spot to do so. The shared driveway between BOTH apartments and the family above wasn’t shared ahead, and was very inconvenient. The apartment itself really was beautiful. The only missing thing was a thermostat. Being anemic, I was pushed to sleep in layers. These are just a few things that would’ve been shared ahead of time.
