Fantastic (waterside) lake views pull at you from sunrise to sunset; you never want to leave the porch. LARGE fenced in yard (lakeside) - peace and tranquility just 70 miles from Dallas! Sometimes, you can catch glimpses of a white heron, ducks, cardinals, and several other birds...you will feel tranquility here.

The kitchen is a home cook’s dream. This home can fit a large family, but is also perfect for just two. This home is perfect for making memories. The open concept great room has vaulted ceilings with the amazing views of the lake as the centerpiece. We are located in an area that is PERFECT for swimming. We have a paddle board for your personal use.

We understand the need to get away and take a break in a safe, serene setting with your family. All you need to do is come and relax, sit back with your feet up and take in the beautiful lake views. Let the kids run in the fully fenced lakeside yard, fish off our small dock [or community dock] and enjoy a splash in the water.

We offer family friendly services and are available to answer your questions promptly.
A fantastic newer style home on Cedar Creek Lake. Bright and open. Whether lake levels are high or low {lake levels fluctuate - we are on a cove}, your family can play at the water's edge, collect seashells or venture out deeper to enjoy your water toys. We have a paddle board and lily pad - they can be tied up to our dock in our protected cove. You can enjoy building an evening fire in the firepit, all the while enjoying the privacy this cove has to offer your family.

There are water views from nearly every room in the house. The immense back porch makes it possible for Mom and Dad to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening while watching the kids playing in the water. Dream house is what we call it, we think you will too!

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash

KITCHEN: Please wash your dishes and leave the kitchen as you found it. Unplug appliances you used and returned them to their original location.
TRASH: Tie garbage bags and place them in trash cans at the end of the driveway. If the cans are not at the end of the driveway, please make sure they are placed there for trash pick up.
BEDROOMS & BATH: Please strip off all sheets and pillowcases of beds used. Put on the bedroom floor. Put all used towels in the laundry room.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

We are on a pie shaped lot - Please be conscientious with our neighbors space. 6 cars only please. Also, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras located outside the front door and above the back door.
Pet Policy- we allow up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs. No pets on furniture. Please pick up after them. There is a $100 non refundable fee.

The house was perfect for everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway with my family. Everything was clean and sufficiently stocked with all that you need. The wonderful back porch was my favorite place to be. Watching the lake and wildlife on a beautiful morning was everything we wanted. Roasting s'more's on an evening and grilling burgers in the back by the water was really nice. The proximity to town and surrounding restaurants and groceries was excellent. Everything within 5-10 mins. We had a lovely time staying here and visiting Cedar Creek Lake.

We loved the house. The neighborhood was quiet. My son caught a few fish. We had a family get together for our youngest child’s 10th birthday. We had 6 adults and 3 kids (10, 13, 16). There was plenty of room for all of us! The only issue we had was the white fencing by the lake was not secure. Thankfully my kids are old enough to be careful.

Memorial Day Lake Stay

The home was as listed and pictures were all very accurate. Plenty of beds for a large family and lots of places to lounge and visit. Enjoyed the back yard and deck. Kids swam and paddle boarded. Very well appointed kitchen. Plenty of cookware and dishes. Overall Aplus.

Cedar Creek Getaway

This was our first visit to Cedar Creek and we’ll definitely be back! Great location right on the water with beautiful views. We were able to fish right off the dock and caught some catfish. We loved being able to bring our dog and the fenced in yard was perfect for this! Plenty of room for our family. Communication with the hosts was prompt and very helpful. Thanks for a great first visit.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was great and even though it was a little chilly we spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the lake. We also had a few nights outside around the firepit looking at the stars. The wife loved the kitchen as we were there during the week of Thanksgiving. It really was a great place to spend our holiday.

What a lovely vacation home! It's gorgeously done, and such a pretty porch/water view! We spent four days here fishing and just relaxing with our dog. Everything you need is truly at your disposal (great kitchen set up!) and the rooms are decorated exceptionally well and with fun, bright colors. Extra twin beds in each bedroom are so fun for kids. We felt at home instantly! There is a Brookshires just a few minutes away, so you can pick up needed groceries. Laura was an amazing host. We texted her several times and she answered immediately. The only surprise we had during our stay was that the neighbor's dog, a tiny Yorkie, is able to walk through the fence posts on the side of the house, and she greeted us on our porch steps the first evening. Our dog has issues with other dogs, so we were concerned. Laura talked to the neighbors, as did we, and they very nicely kept the dog out of our yard during the rest of our stay. Overall, a wonderful stay, superb home, and the very best host!

This house was so thoughtfully setup for hosting my family. Plenty of seating inside and outside so we could all hang out, fenced in yard so no unexpected 'visitors'. Also the kitchen had every single thing we needed to make all of our meals. Plenty of fans to cool down the house and the beds were absolutely awesome! We will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect quiet cove

Wonderful Experience

Came to the area to see the solar eclipse, and decided to stay at this property on Cedar Creek Lake. The house was a perfect fit for the four of us adults and two small dogs. The big back porch has an amazing lake view, and the location—only an hour from Dallas—enabled us to enjoy lake life and go into town when we wanted to. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host made sure our experience was memorable. A great stay!

Family friendly lakeside stay

We had an amazing stay at this lake house. The house was very clean. The living area was perfect for our large family and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved drinking our coffee on the porch and enjoying the lake. The water level was quite low, but it made it so we had a beach area. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The owner was very responsive to all communication.

Lovely home, very clean, beautiful porch for just sitting and enjoying the peaceful lake. The kitchen is well supplied. Great to be able to use the garage. Comfortable beds. Owner/manager was easy to contact and very helpful. The location has a good view of the lake. Like all properties at Cedar Creek Lake that I know of, the neighborhoods are crowded and the other houses are really close. No big deal; just fyi. Brookshire's grocery store is close, and Cedar Creek Brewery has a fun Trivia Night on Thursdays.Wonderful to get away and be on the lake like this. We were all super pleased with this property!

Great little get-a-way

We don't live far, but wanted to be right on the water for the 4th, it was a great stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed, and more. The host was very easy to contact and the weather was great. The boat launch is very close, and although the water was too low (and there was a electrical pipe in the water by the dock that had come loose) and we were not able to tie our boat up, it was still very east to use the public dock/boat launch. Besides putting the boat in the water we never left the house, spending out evenings watching the fireworks around the lake, thanks!
