「Great budget location for exploring and hiking the park. Kitchen gets busy and was missing spoons (common issue in shared kitchens- we had our own so it wasn’t a problem, somewhat dated and mostly clean. Liked the easy self check-in as well. Not a rowdy or loud hostel- we stayed here with our kids in a family room and had a great sleep and stay.」

「This was an amazing lodge to stay while we travelled around Tongariro National Park. The owners are very friendly and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would HIGHLY recommend staying in this hidden gem. If I ever come back I will most certainly stay here again. Also, their breakfast was outstanding. 」

「Absolutely loved our stay! Such a cozy, peaceful spot to unwind, and so close to the mountain for an easy trip to the snow. The homemade crumpets and raspberry jam were honestly to die for – the perfect touch to a perfect getaway. Can’t wait to come back!”」
