Wonderful stay

We had an a simply incredible time in Ucluelet, made even better by this fantastic hotel. The room was great, all we needed - and the location was fantastic. Just a short trip to the Wild Pacific Trail, and we walked in to Ucluelet every day. Could recommend highly enough - the owners even kindly posted my watch I left behind all the way to the UK.

Great view.

The main attraction of Ucluelet is the Wild Pacifac Trail and the lodge is perfectly located for that but is close enough to several nice restaurants and a cafe.

Wonderful room perched above the water.

I absolutely love this accommodation. The room was well equipped, and even little things were thought of, like a candle and matches by the wonderful jacuzzi tub. Will definitely stay again.

Magnifique environnement mais...

Ucluelet est touristique et cela se sent sur les prestations, un peu "sur-vendues". La plage privée : quelques rochers. Pas de service de chambre entre les deux nuits, propreté moyenne (serviette du précédent occupant dans la salle de bain et wc à la propreté approximative). Isolation phonique moyenne si les voisins sont bruyants. Les plus : le cadre, la décoration de la chambre et les nombreuses informations touristiques mises à disposition, très utiles si on reste plusieurs jours dans la région.

Geschmackvolle Suite, grossartige Gastgeber

Wunderscöne Suite mit Terrasse und Blick auf die Bucht, das Meer, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet um auch mal am Zimmer zu essen. Sehr hilfsbereite gastgeber mit tipps und Organisation von Touren. Komme jederzeit gerne wieder.

Elegante, piccolo lodge sulla baia di Ucluelet

Si tratta di una struttura piccola in legno, isolata nel bosco, a picco su una spiaggia magnifica. Molto indicato per soggiorni romantici. Unici nei: la camera viene sistemata di regola ogni due giorni e la rete wi-fi mi ha dato notevoli problemi di connessione. Ma il giudizio complessivo è senz'altro molto positivo.

Aufenthalt für 2Tage, schön gelegen mit eigenen Parkplätzen. Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich ein Wanderweg mit einem Leuchtturm, dieser ist sehr empfehlenswert.

Ruhige und gemütliche Unterkunft

Wir übernachteten drei Nächte in der He-Tin-Kis Lodge und fühlten uns dort rundum wohl. Die Lodge liegt sehr ruhig am Ortsrand in einem Waldgebiet und verfügt sogar über einen (steilen) Zugang zum eigenen kleinen Strand. Unsere geräumige Suite verfügte über ein bequemes Doppelbett, eine gemütliche Sitzecke samt Kaminheizung (elektrisch), Balkon mit Blick auf Wasser, einer „Bar“ mit zwei Hockern, einem großen, offenen Wandschrank mit viel Ablage- und Stauraum, einem Sideboard (zusätzlicher Stauraum) und eine kleine Küchenecke (Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Teekocher, Besteck, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Spülbehältnis samt Utensilien im Bad). Das helle Bad war mit einer Jacuzzi-Wanne, Fön und allen benötigten Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet. Auch wenn „nur“ alle zwei Tage (gründlich) gereinigt wird, ist alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wie in Nordamerika üblich ist das Haus recht hellhörig, also am besten ein paar Ohropax einpacken. Die Gastgeber, Tanya und Scott, halten sich diskret im Hintergrund, stehen aber bei Bedarf jederzeit zur Verfügung, z. B. mit Tipps für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Ein Tipp zum Schluss: Uclulet ist ein kleiner, gemütlicher Ferienort und auf Grund der Lage grundsätzlich nicht unbedingt als günstig zu bezeichnen. Wer also in erster Linie als Selbstverpfleger unterwegs ist, der sollte seine Einkäufe möglichst schon zuvor auf der Anreise (z. B. in Port Alberni) vornehmen. Denn der einzige große Supermarkt (CO-OP) im Ort schlägt bei den Preisen kräftig zu.

Amazing view, classy minimalistic decor

Loved the location and owners did their best to make sure we were comfortableo noon. Good layout of unit. Comfortable, except there is no table or chairs for playing games or eating......just a bar with 2 stools. Tiny, very minimal kitchenette is frustrating. In our opinion, unit is most suitable for a short stay.

Beautiful location

The view was spectacular, very quiet and peaceful. The lighthouse added to the ambience warning the ships away in the coastal mists. The hosta were very gracious and available if needed.

Hear the waves lull you to sleep. 😀👍

Loved sleeping to the sounds of the waves crashing and having your own path to the beach. 😀 Staying here is definitely better than staying at bigger lodges/hotels. This place has a more intimate appeal. Be wary that room cleaning isn't done daily (every other day) and that you may hear your neighbours sometimes, but it's all good. The view and waves is sooo nice!!! 👍👍👍

nice and quiet

a little bit far away from Tofino and long beach. lodge is in good condition, clean and quiet. good view from the balcony. it is a very good place for couple.

Location is amazing

The owners live on site and there are only 3 suites available for guests. The room was stunning. Every attention to detail was evident. The lodge is nestled among trees overlooking a bay and beyond you can see the ocean. It is so quiet and comfortable we could have stayed for weeks. The owners, Scott and Tanya, really care about their guests and do everything possible to make your stay just perfect. After two nights stay we had arranged to move on to Tofino. We wished we had just stayed at this place instead.
