"Hotels.com clearly stated I booked a room for 2 adults & 1 kid of 16 year old, but on arrival Palazzo told us they only had a room for us for 2 adults and a baby, so we couldn't stay in the Hotel. The person behind the reception was so kind to look for a solution for us, but it was a hassle and not a nice experience to start of our vacation and we felt that the alt. room/hotel wasn't so nice looking as Palazzo. "Very good hotel in a great location - opposite the former dictators villa in the stylish blloku district and a short walk from the centre and major sites. Though fairly dated it was very clean and the 80/90s decor actually added to the feel! Breakfast was very good and we frequently had the steam room and pool to ourselves after a busy day exploring. Room was spacious and everything worked including the aircon. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Superb staff , especially the reception staff who couldn’t do enough from checking us in to sorting out taxis. Room was spotless and spacious. Only comment would be a bigger tv. Food in the restaurant was amazing and very reasonably priced Swimming pool was good although a little cold Gym was a negative as it’s actually quite unsafe due to the age of the equipment Other negative is the traffic outside the hotel, very busy. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay"

"Room wasnt clean upon arrival and even though I had requested housekeeping throughout my stay, all that was done was an empty of the bins and 1 change of the towels. Beds were not made (i didnt leave them in a mess to begin with) let alone a change of bedlinen over my 4 night stay. My bathmat was removed on day 2 and I asked for a replacement and was met with surprise at the front desk on what a batmat was. (Might have been a language barrier). The bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff were helpful (apart from the bathmat). The breakfast was ok. Its a nice hotel but most definitely not worth the price they charged. Its a 5k walk (on some very busy/noisy roads) to the city centre, ir else a cab ride. I get the feeling its a new hotel so they are still finding their feet, Tirana is a lovely city and tourism is really starting to boom. The AC in the room was not working."

"I was looking for a simple no frills hotel and the Allure fit the bill perfectly. The room was clean and well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't really trouble the reception or cleaning staff during my stay, but was always greeted with a friendly smile whenever we did interact. The reception team spoke excellent English and dealt with my check-in, check-out and taxi request efficiently. The location of the hotel is very convenient for cafes and restaurants and I was able to find all my meals,change currency, replace my phone charger, get a haircut and buy sunscreen within a 5-10 minute walk."
